@ Eileen HA HA HA, what have we done?????

no going back now! these little people are coming soon and if its not your first child you know more or less what to expect.....CHAOS!

Its my second daughter, my first is 2 now and potty trained and basically independant keeps herself busy and plays, watches a movie from start to finish and now i finally have some free time here and there for things like painting my nails and taking bubble baths and BAM....all about to change starting from scratch again! ha ha. the nerves have kicked in soon there will be a new comer in my houshold with her own intentions about how things are going to go down!

Am i ready....only time will tell but she is ready juggling two kids is going to be a whole different ball game especially that DH works 7 days a week!

Been having these pains all morning, like the most intense back and stomache spasms i rush to the loo and nothing!
I even called my mom in tears to get here cos the pain was horrible seems to have subsided now, called gynae they said i must go to pharmacy to get some tablets for my stomache cant believe they just diagnose you over the phone....im afraid to take something cos we dont even know what this is. So confusing i want the pain to stop but i dont believe in diagnosis over the phone...i only go to gynae on Thursday and am booked for c-sec on the next Tuesday!

will take it one day at a time i suppose!

Looks like we going through the same emotions.
All of a sudden the anticipation is turning into anxiety. Having had 2 babies before, I really thought its gonna be a breeze. But boy did the reality kick in today!!!!!

We started moving everything into the nursery!!!! Clothes packed out, toiletries organised, furniture the works. Suddenly I realised that shortly all the pretty clothes and blankies and toys etc will belong to a little person with her own personality, likes and dislikes.

And all of a sudden I'm not sure if I'm ready for this...what have we done??!!?!?!?!?

Robyn, from one un-maternal to another...don't worry it kicks in! I never longed for natural birth, and breastfeeding just scares the hell out of me. But I managed to get my 2 girls big

Girly, I'm feeling better, swelling bit down and so is the BP. I've been resting as much as possible. Will see what the test says on Monday. I do get your frustration/irritation. I think it's the nesting instinct that makes us cranky when thing's aren't going as planned. Enjoy your inlaws.

Babyk's mom I agree. It's all rather daunting at the moment! But if everyone else can do it so can we?

M2M hope your dh will take LB for a while that you can relax at home! When will you finish at work?

Im so irritated. Been out all day. Movies tonight. Has been enjoyable but I look around and just see stuff that still needs to be done, and no energy but know I have to get to it, esp since doc could decide to do c/sec this friday if she hasnt grown properly.
In laws just here, and commenting on the things we still need to do. They'll come help which I'm so grateful for, but was really hoping everything would be ready by now.
Will just have to keep on going until its all done and then hopefully have a few days to myself.

Going to have a lovely pre-natal massage tom morning and then it's my shower in the afternoon (will try post some pics next week) and then it's my twin nieces 6th birthday on Sun, so a very busy weekend all round!

Hey ladies

Feeling all sick to my stomach again today and just trying to relax. Just wish the c-sec could be over and done already. Funny, I am not at all concerned about once baby is here - just the c-sec thoughts that make me nervous

Can't wait for dh to get home, then he is all mine for the next few weeks - YEAH!!! Having dinner at the in-laws tonight, so have to build up some courage to at least get dressed today!!! It's just so much easier pulling out a clean set of pj's after a shower - at least I know that fits!!!

Going to do some last minute things around the house tomorrow - or at least, I am going to instruct DH to do a few last minute things around the house tomorrow then on Sunday, we are sleeping in and will decide if we going to cook a nice lunch together or go somewhere for lunch and just relax, spending our last day alone together before we officially become parents! Monday morning, it's early up, no breakfast and straight to hospital

Girly, you are lucky if you have not had braxton hicks - it can be pretty uncomfortable the last few weeks, especially at night!! Your tummy pulls tight and hard and it almost feels as if you can't breathe for a few seconds and then it goes away - I HATE it. Found the funniest thing that helps it a bit though - if DH tickles my tummy, it tends to be less uncomfortable

Mina Moo - can't wait to hear your news and see some pics!!!!

Ladies, I must be one of the most un-maternal women, so I just hope the instinct kicks in as soon as Baby D arrives - otherwise my poor child is screwed!!

Congrats Nikki and Naikza and Liani, and have I missed out anyone? This is making me more and more excited, hearing how some moms have already had their babies

Ja I am nervous for when my baby is here and helpless and my full responsibility. I'm scared for the sleepless nights and when he will cry and cry and nothing I do makes him stop. But I know this is normal so I will just hold him in my arms and comfort him and know that many many women have been through this and I can do it!
