Morning all - just a quick update

Was admitted to CT medi clinic yesterday afternoon. I had been noticing clear fluid on my undewear and a feeling of "leaking". Called the hospital and they told me to come in.

Had me under observation the whole night, looks like mt contractions have started, but waters look intact still. Induced me now at 5h30, inserted these tablets into my vagina, so hoping to go into labour soon!

As you can imagine I barely slep even though they gave me a sleeping pill too excited I guess

Hope everyone is taking it easy this weekend, will let you know how everything goes.

Overcasted 'n cool today in Ct, what are your week-end plans?...anybody going to the Baba Indaba, saw posters up yesterday on my way to the gynae's rooms, see it's running this week-end at CTICC, no can do, dont think I have the energy

Went for my 37 week check up yesterday, all is looking set to go still for the 30th, lil p weighing in 3.2kg's with lots of hair
Handed in my consent forms to the receptionist for the Cesarean & she will confirm with me on Thurs. the exact time I need to be in the hospital on Fri. but I've been pre-booked to go into the theatre at 3:30 but this could change, I have to be at hospital 2 hrs prior so that I can be prep'd as well as DH...she mentioned no eating 6hrs prior to the procedure...cant believe that I'll be meeting my baba soon soon! DH just keeps telling me she better not come before this as his here on Thurs. Shame she is looking abit cramped in there, I've been talking nicley to her to just stay put for now
If all goes well, I will be released on my bday the afternoon of the 2nd Oh 'n DH mighty have an interview that day here, cross fingers!!!

Need to go to Dischem to get my essentials for the month so it's off to Canal Walk later today 'n I feel like watching a movie but will see!

Naikza - my grandfather's giving the name and just our immediate fam here at home, not necessary for the moulana to be preseent, just need somebody to make a small dua that's all, should take longer than a half 'n hour?

Eileen sob sob all you like! The last month is a month of hormones!
Izibella still a good weight though, only a week ahead or so.
Doc measures the thigh, head circumference and stomach to get a weight estimation. Remember they can be up to 10% out in this measurement so dont stress too much. Could be she has long legs and is nice and chubby (healthy). Dont think its anything to worry about.

Great not to have gained the weight but dont know how you do the healthy stuff!

Got to get working now! Hope everyone else is doing well.

These hormones are completely out of whack!

I decided to take each day as it comes. Not long now, not long now, not long now....trying to convince myself....hehehe.

Thank goodness it's friday! Month end though, jig!

Izibella had one hell of a growth spurt!

She gained 600g is 2 weeks, which I find impossible. Standing at a whopping 2502g.
How do they measure ur ones' weight? Doc measures the length of her thigh and according to that her weight. But she's already 31.5cm, which is that of a 35w3d baby....her tummy is that of a 32w old baby. Her head is the only measurement that makes sense 34w2d.

Yet, I have not gained 1 kg still! My blood sugar is under control..whoohoo! I'm eating so healthy is just scary! No pregnant woman should eat this healthy, it's just wrong!

Shame Eileen, it's not fair on you at all. If you really need it perhaps speak to your colleague

AFM - I'm gonna work from home tomorrow, and try to get everything I need to handover done this weekend, and then ask doctor to book me off next week. There's just no ways I can carry on, and now I need to look after my baby.
I think I've been to blame for her slow growth the last few weeks.
