Naikza thinking of you. What did they give you as your due date? As long as you're still having regular movements and going for checkups try not to stress. But I can only imagine.

Liani I cant believe it! That's phenomenal growth. So you gonna be induced or c/sec? Keep us posted!

Eileen big hugs. Shame sounds rough. I think you & me the same. lots of built up stress that suddenly needs releasing. Just do whatever is best for you, sod those bosses of yours. Sounds like quite a predicament, but dont do anything to your and your baby's detriment. Could they not let you work from home / work half day from now on? 11th is a long way away, plus you should be allowed to go off a month before due date???

Judesmom...hell want an scare that mustve been!

Girly, hopefully bubs will have a growthspurt before your next apptm.

I had the worst day. My boss and I weren't seeing eye to eye the entire day. He did some nasty things which I just could not let slide.

So I ended up crying throughout my gynae visit! When the lady did my weight and BP is cried...when doc walked into the examination room....I cried....I think this weeks stress finally caught up with me (court case of Monday and this mornings betrayal). So hubby stepped in and asked doc to put me on ML already. So doc gave me a note to start ML on Monday. But we just 2 girls in the office and the other girl put in leave from 2-10 Aug, and I they'll cancel her leave if I go now, which is also not fair on her. So I decided to stay till the 11th of Aug.

I am just sooo emotionally drained.

JudesMom - Wow! What a horrible thing to go through, just very glad you are okay.
Just a quick update - went to dr again today for my weekly update - 36w 2d today - Ava-Lily weighs 3.65kg ALREADY!!! So girls, my date is set - going to the dr again on Tuesday for the last time (hopefully) and if doc is happy, it's off to the hospital on Wednesday!!!
Will keep you updated.
Cant wait to hear all your birth stories seeing that we're all so close.

Hi Mommies

Hope you all are well. Its been crazy i have been bored to death at home n i guess clinic made a mistake with the Edd or baby jus too comfy. Its getting bad with heartburn, goin thru bottles of gaviscon. Been to clinic with my son asked for advise re baby arrival was told to go back this past Mon n that will check n induce if necessary, but hubby against this he said to be patient baby wil come wen its time. To be honest i am also scared that if induce can end up in c section.

Bosses now keeping me busy by bringing month end work so keeps my mind busy.

Glad all your babies are growing well. Wil try catching up on all posts soon.

Mina i recently converted to islam jus wanna know about naming ceremony, is this done with a moulana present or jus family?

JudesMom that was a horrible experience, glad you n family are safe.

Ladies do any of you have really swollen feet n legs? Only asking cos i never experienced this b4. My legs from below knees are swollen including ankles n toes, cant wear any of my shoes .

Mina Moo - let us know how your scan goes tomorrow. The weather is gorgeous in CT . Just spent some time in the garden with the dogs basking in the warm sun. I'm dreading the UIF process, I'm on annual leave now and only go on maternity leave from 01 Aug, so can only go after baba is born.

JudesMom - what a horrible experience last night! I would make a big stink at the relevant police station for the manner in which these so called SAPS conducted themselves. I can only imagine how you must have felt.

I had a dream last night that my waters broke and I was at work and everyone was pointing at this puddle of water saying your waters have broke.

Still feel her move a lot but the movements are now painful as she is probably so cramped in there.

Can't wait to meet her, its literally any day now!!!

Nikki - the bean bag I bought at Clicks and the UIF, I had to submit the day I started my maternity which was Mon. now and I have to follow up in the next 6-8 weeks again! Gynae has to complete another form when baba is born so I godda go back again around that time!

See u guys have been busy, doing last minute shoppings, going for your check up's...hopefully also taking breaks in between 'n those waiting it out like myself, only a matter of days to go still, scary stuff

I'm kinda bored being at home, sleeping late, watching my preggie dvd's and chatting to DH online, shudn't complain tho hey coz before I know, lil p will be here 'n that will be a thing of the past

My moms are also discussing once the baba is born the naming ceremony and because it's the first grandchild both sides, both want to give it...u no how these things go...in the muslim faith, u have to do this within 7 days of birth but I want it small. We would have given something bigger if we were by the means too but yaa. We dont have our own place here yet etc. so that too...

I have my check up tomorrow at noon so we gonna do an internal 'n see if we still sticking to the 30th! I don't know if I can hold it out until the week after but will discuss this again with the gynae tomorrow!

The weather's been fantastic these past few days in CT, pity i'm under hosue arrest
