Hi girls

Yawn. I stay tired :(

Mommy hehe welcome to the club re eating. I had pronutro at 10pm last night! And just finished a snacker and its not even lunch time.

The linen savers are the ones with the plastic with paper underneath yes. Midwives use them for home births, and they can be used afterwards for kiddies and are reasonably priced.
Maybe thats why theyre with maternity stuff, close to disposable panties?
Dischem might have them too.

Charnenay so glad that you guys had the chat and it didnt go too badly. It's always easier if you are in agreement then no one can play you against each other.
And good idea about DH needing a break. It's really tiring for them and in the end theyre exhausted.

The Dermastine I bought at Dischem - for like R265 or something. There's 2, must use the one thats pregnancy safe as the other one includes Vit A. My gynae recommended it.
Well I still have stretch marks, and see one has appeared above my bellybutton - really strange spot! They arent as purple anymore, some have gone white already, while others are pink. Still not nice but I can only hope it's working and preventing it from being worse.

Yep my weekend away is 2 days and counting!
I'll def let you girls know. Its a huge bargain, cos there's 6 of us, only paying R350 per person for the WHOLE weekend. Thats 3 nights.
Been looking up other things to do in the area, so looking forward to some fun.
But I'm so tired now all I want to do is sleep!

Haha - speaking of clothes not fitting. I bought a stunning denim jacket last winter which I lived in. Didnt pack it away as I figured it'd still fit. But now it doesnt even come close to getting over my boobs!

Something like that - I have not opened mine, so not entirely sure. But, I plan to put it under the sheet, so if a mess happens, you only have to wash the sheet and your mattress stays clean. A friend of mine used these on her daughter's bed, but she taped it to the mattress so that it did not move around.

M2M - you can get linen savers from Baby city, not sure where else. I found mine in the maternity, not baby section - with the maternity pad, panties, etc.

Hey ladies

Girly, thanks for the comments - DH and I spoke on Tuesday night and we decided (after a heated debate) to tell his parents that we would call them when we are ready for visitors (eeek, that's not going to go down well). DH also agreed that my sister could still come in with us if the hospital/doctor allows it. Otherwise, she will wait outside just in case DH gets queasy :), that way they can play tag if they have to :) I have also shared some of the comments from the other ladies with DH so that he knows it's not just me being selfish, but that other woman feel this way as well - that seems to help :)

Girly, enjoy your holiday - sure it will be great. Good luck trying to fit into the bikini - I definitely can't wear mine anymore. My body kind of looks like a map at the moment and I never had a single stretch mark before - oh well, I'm happy to pay the price. Speaking of that, I keep meaning to ask you if the dermastine (think I got that right) is working for you?? Hope you can still fit into yours.

M2M - invest in some linen savers for the time being :0

Few ideas:
You could try putting on his nappy once he is already asleep.
You could try waking at about 3:30 and carrying him in his sleep to put him on the potty and hopefully he is so out of it, that he just does his thing :)

Good luck - apparently for some bizarre reason, girls are easier to potty train than boys :)

what do i do my lil monster insits in sleeping in undies (he is still potty training), he still drinks a bottle at night (juice/milk/water). now the problem is, he refuses to wear his nappy, he refuses to go to the toilet and every bloody night he wets his bed at bout 4/5 in the morning. HUGE FIGHTS is what we have now....AND lack of sleep!!
