Hi moms, sorry I never seem able to have 5 minutes to catch up these days. but I do try read all the posts.
Kerry, so glad to hear you are feeling better, its been really tough. Teeth pain is right up there with the worst pain that exists!
Same with you PinkMommy, how is your absess? Are you going in this Friday to have it removed? My aunt had 2 absesses in her mouth and both times she had to go into hospital to have them removed, the antibiotics etc didn't touch sides either. How is Abby feeling today? You've had such a run around with doctors/ hospitals lately! You poor thing. Have you had time to go back for the 2nd interview?
I'm applying for a job at the UN. I saw the advert in the paper last night. I have to fill out a form, which is kind of like an extended cv and then if they are interested in me they will get back to me. I'm still trying to make things work with my new client but to be honest I am so tired of freelancing and not having job security that a constant monthly pay check is sounding so tempting right now. I want to be able to buy things like I used to, I'm so tired of scrimping and scraping. Wow, I sound like a real little selfish princess don't I? Anyways, there's no harm in applying, on the chance that I hear back from them, I'll go from there.
I'm not sure if I told you girls John's last 'measurements'. We went to the nurse for his chicken pox jab last week and he now weighs 10.2kg and is 76cm. He looks bigger than he is, I really thought he weighed more than that. I call him my little skinny guy now

His head is still bigger than normal, 50.5cm! lol. I need to buy him a big boy sun hat now, all the baby ones are too small.
Cols, what a win on the iron supplements! I'm so happy for you! So how does it feel to be sleeping more normally now? John is still sleeping through generally but he is so pale sometimes I wonder if he needs iron. I forgot to ask the nurse but she didn't bring it up so maybe its just his skin. He is very fair like DH and I. The chances of him getting olive skin were slim to none really
Aah PM so sweet re: the dress and the bras. I feel a little sad that I won't experience that since I don't have a girl but it really doesn't bother me that much. I think I'm definitely coming to terms with only having one child. Its nice to know that DH and I can give everything and do everything that we can for him, and give him the best that we can. Anyways, there's still my sister and DH's brother and sister who might have kids one day so I have (hopefully) lots of nephews and nieces to look forward to
