Cant believe how small your little man was hey. He has grown so much!

Shew you must be careful with croup - good that you took him to a doctor.
Long as your LB picking up enough weight according to his clinic card try not stress. The reflux could affect the weight gain too so if hes gaining too slowly cos of the reflux then doc must give him something.
K drinks a whole lot for her weight, but poos so much she prob loses half of it during the day lol.

Any of your LO's have hickups A LOT!? K has it 5 times a day some days. Someone pointed out that it could be a sign of silent reflux. She is quite niggly some days, but doesnt moan about being down on her back, so not sure if I must take her to doc or not. Sometimes docs visits seem like such a waste for them to just say 'deal with it your baby is fine'. But dont want her to suffer unnecessarily if it is that.

Charnenay now I'm ever thankful K doesnt take a dummy so we dont have to worry about dummy runs

Seems our kitchen cupboards will be done on Monday and Tuesday so I have to find somewhere to hang out while they drill. Not looking forward cos there's no comfort like your own home esp with a baby, but am looking forward to more space! We've been waiting 3 years.

Feeling much better today kinda feels weird to eat though. Its sort of gotten me off all the junk I was eating though so its a good thing.

K usually goes down between 7 & 8 at night. Tonight took longer. was asleep in my arms from about 7:40 for about 30mins. Then put her in her cot and not 10 minutes later she was crying. So put her in her swing to rock herself to sleep (I had no energy by this point, no supper and hubby out) and thankfully it worked.
But fed her at 8:30 and had half of it thrown up all over me Hoping she'll sleep till 3ish though since her last feed normally 6:30 and get woken up around 1 or 2am.

My Emily is right up there with the boys!! Had her at the paed today and she weighs 6.2KG and is 62cm's.!!!!

i've been very quiet since Liam was born.

blessed - your lil man is a lightweight compared to my lil bulletjie he tops the scale at 6.4 (and that was last friday) and his lenght is 62cm

this is how small he used to be vs now...and the last pic was 3 weeks ago...

don't have much to report, only that i miss you girls! and that liam's been admitted to hospital AGAIN (second time)

Hi ladies..

How are you ladies doing? It's been so long since my last post So sorry for being mia!

Armand is growing so nicely!! He weighs 5.93kg's and 61cm. Had to take him to the pead on Monday, because he has croep (sp). It is not nice when they struggle to breath. Doc gave him meds and said if it is not better in 2wks time, i have to take him back. Also went to buy a nebular this morning. Hope to sort this croep out quickly.

As for sleeping patterns - Armand drinks every 3hrs during the day. He's last feed is at 19:30 / 20:00 then he sleeps till 3/4 in the morning and then up again at 7. Sometimes he sleeps 4hrs during the day. A bit concern about his drinking. Sometimes it is such a struggle to get him to eat. He only drinks 120ml and he is suppose to drink 150ml. He is gaining enough weight though, but still. I just think he is not a good drinker.. I had to stop breastfeeding. Mos got the mastitis and my milk got less. I had to express because Armand did not want to drink on me from birth, so my nipples cracked very badly because of the expressing. It got septic. So the Dr said i should rather stop breastfeeding, because my nipples will not get better while I'm expressing. So Armand got breast milk till 3mnths. He also has reflux, so he has to drink Nan AR. I also think that the milk gives him a lot of slime. Will ask my Dr about it when i see him again. Other than that, i just love being a mommy!!! He is such an angel. i did spoil him a bit, so have to teach him to fall asleep by himself again.

Good luck to all the mommies who had to go back to work and still needs to go back. It is not lekker, i can imagine! xxx

Mina moo - i know what you mean about the weight loss. Wish i did not gained so much during my pregnancy. I gained 27kg's!! Still need to loose 3kg's to be back where i was. O and no bikini for me ever again. I got a lot of stretch marks on my tummy. Part of life i guess!!

My sister had her baby the 4th! The most gorgeous little girl!! She weighed 2.83kg's!
