Hiya ladies
Shew I'm feeling quite tired tonight. Meant to work on my CV but I feel like I'm ready for bed!
JudesMom shees that sounds very hectic! Hopefully its just a phase?
Have you tried all bottle types? Have you tried not being 'around' when the bottle is given? Shame this must be so stressful for you.
I would say this - if it starts getting too much maybe take her to the paed maybe there's something else causing this issue?
And likewise yourself - if you need help maybe ask your gynae to get you a script for eglynol. I take it and have decided to do so until I am sleeping 'through' - a good 6 hrs straight, as the tiredness aggrevates any other problems during the day and then I just cannot cope.
Babyzee hey hun. Nice to have you online again!
Hows your little one doing?
M2M how's L doing now? And J?
Re CPT Meet - M2M said we can meet at her place - thats if everyones willing to drive to Kraaifontein? Maybe next week? Wednesday always works for me but what do you girls think?
K is weighing 5kgs now - so we're still the smallest. But she's developing well and is feisty as anything! The day time sleep is getting easier - I think I'm just getting used to it though. I have to rock her to sleep, theres just no other way to do it. I can put her in her swing or cot and as tired as she is she just wont fall asleep. Sometimes we struggle but most times it takes 5-10mins to get her to sleep. I often just have her sleep in my arms cos theres less risk of her waking up, but I do try put her down as often as I can. She only sleeps around 30-45mins per nap.
How is the night time sleep routine going?
K feeds between 6 & 7pm, then we rock her to sleep. This seems to take much longer than the daytime, sometimes a good 30mins-1hr and even then she stays restless, so we put her in her swing while she sleeps and then move her to the bed later if we need to. Other nights she's fine and shes in her own bed by 8pm. Then sleeps around 7hrs before her next feed, and then 3.5hrs taking us to 5 or 6am, and then she wakes around 7am. But generally after her last feed she's quite niggly and restless although asleep, so we then put her in our bed with one of our hands on her chest and she calms down.
Anyone (besides Charne whose never had this problem

) whose babies are now skipping their 2am feeds? Esp those who are breastfeeding? Apparently this happens between 3-6 months but I am SO hoping its closer to 3 months!!!
K turned 3 months this past Saturday. We spent the morning at the moomie meet and she was so well behaved. The afternoon we took her to meet great granny for the first time. She met great grandpa the day of her birth but GGma is bed bound. They're in an old age home so we didnt want to take her till her immune system was better.
Sunday we had her dedication. The weather was lovely and the venue was perfect (Slattery's at Oude Westhof)! It was so chill and relaxed. Will put the photo's up on fb when I get a chance.
Anyhoo now that I've yet again filled an entire page I better go!
