Okay so tomorrow is my last day ... can it come any sooner i tell you, then after doc visit and UIF submission im going home str8 to bed to relax!

Otherwise im going to start pampering myself from Tuesday ....

So we have action at the camp.

Hey all

Quick update from Mommy2monster.
She went to check out her braxton hicks contractions a bit earlier on and learned it was actual contractions.
They're keeping her at the hospital and giving steroids as baby still very small, probably try and keep him put for as long as possible but unlikely she'll make her due date of 16th.

Will let you know any updates tomorrow. But please keep her in your prayers.

Jeanine K thanks for the update! I was wondering myself where we were with all of this.
Of the moms left, who will be trying natural birth and who c/sec? And who has had what so far?

BabyK's mom sorry about the predicament with the income. Dont think too much about it, maybe this is how it should be so you can rest a bit before the big day.
Think you should bring forward your treatments Never know what could happen in the next 9 days!

M2J I think we have the right idea with all this pampering And agree with you, will be nice to spend some special time with your daughter before the big day.
Wow thats hectic about your friend's cousin! I know the anaethetists arent permanently present in every hospital, they go from one to the next and come back for emergencies. Rather scary thought but thankfully these incidences are few and far.

Funny I'm not really thinking about the c/sec. There's not much I can do to prepare. Gynae has done it thousands of times. I have no choice to trust him. Maybe I'll feel a bit different the night before and I'm probably just in denial.

Still seems so much to get done at home - non baby related, but things I've been procrastinating for ages.

Cant wait for my scan tomorrow. She's definitely still breech, I can feel her head under my ribs. But it feels like she's grown a lot - I hope so. First scan where DH isnt coming with. Gonna be wierd.

Babyzee keep us posted please. My gynae was also reluctant to wait to 39w as chances of labour starting before then are higher, and then its a rush for them. My gynae booked mine for 38w3d (13th) but will move it forward if she hasnt grown nicely.

Mommy2J thast so cute of your daughter,looks like you have your week planned atleast it will keep your mind off the c/s.

Girly all the best with tomorrows scan i hope Kaylee had turned and had gone through a growth spurt all the best.

Jeanine K, its great that you got us all down now we can see who is having their baba soon my due date is the 23rd of Aug 2010 but my gynae want to have a c/s on the 10th my next appointement is Friday i hope i can convience him to give me one more week so that baby is 39 wks will keep you all posted.

I am not ready for the c-sec infact i will need calming meds im sure i am going to hit a panic...the thought of the theatre, the surgical equipment....the catheter the spinal gets me feeling so whooooozy!

Thanks for th support and m2m for the honesty...i suppose when you busy expanding your family its the last time you want to admit there are problems you want everything to seem perfect thanks for making me realise it can be hard and overcome...and to all the ladies for the care and advice.

My friends cousin had hr baby..she has the same gynae as me and baby got stuck cos she did not dilate and they rushed her to theatre and there was no anethetist so they rushed her back and and cut hr every which way to get baby out natuarally, she was traumatised and baby's heart stopped and was in icu for a week but now they both doing better and he has been discharged...so scary to think there was no anethetist and they had no idea and we trust these people with our lives!

I am just glad to hear they are both fine...also her ambilical cord apparently was soft...dont know what that means?

Hey girly our days seem to be the same now, i also went for my las-vegas wax today....ouch! Not pleasant dont know how you ever get used to it thought i was going to go into labour.

Tomorrow im going for my hair, and thursday gynae and last minute shopping and friday my pedicure!

enjoying some me time, found out today my daughters school (its a pvt school) is closing for holidays soon, so im going to have my hands full. think it might be good for her to bond with her sister! Hope i can cope though!

Ladies have a great evening, on the funny side of how kids see these new lil comers my daughter puts a blanket in her top and tells everyone to feel her baby kick and she tells me when her sister comes she will play soccor with her and hold her hand...so cute she loves giving my tummy hugs and kisses and runs up to me hugs my legs and says " i love your baby in your tummy" and whenever i get a cramp and hold my tummy she says is your baby hurting your tummy? or is my sister coming out your tummy to play with me?

Hope the love lasts when she is here!

Shame Mommy2J, I feel for you and you are right to believe that you do deserve romance and all that stuff. Its hard for men to change, they can be so stuck in their ways, sometimes it seems like us women are always going out of our way for everyone but they never seem to do it for us. I pray your man mellows and sees you for who you are. Big hugs XxxX

I freelance and was supposed to have 2 projects to keep me busy until mid August but both have been pushed out so I am essentially on maternity leave already. It's great to be able to put my feet up but not so great about the money I was expecting from the work. But it's all a lesson in faith and we have a marvellous support base with both my in-laws and especially my parents so I'm sure we'll be fine. Nothing like a little bit of work stress to bring on the preggie hormones in full force though, been lots of tears on my side but feeling better now.

Ah Girly, enjoy your pedi on thurs, I have booked for next week friday and I've also booked a leg wax but will do my "down there" myself with veet I think. It's just too uncomfortable right now with the big belly And enjoy your scan tomo.
My next scan is only next Wed as my gynae is away this week. So good that your BP is low and not high!

I LOVE all the stories about the kiddies talking to their "almost siblings" and that mommy made a baby by taking girl vitamins! That is too sweet. I am really looking forward to my newborn and nurturing him but I'm also really looking forward to when he's older and talking and communicating. I think Hubby is looking forward to when he's older too and he can take him fishing and watch rugby and play rough and tumble and teach him things.

Its still overwhelming to think how our lives are about to be changed forever. Hubby and I have been together for over 9 years so this will be a very different chapter for us.
