Cols - please tell me more about this iron supplement. What are you giving and how does it work to help Evan sleep at night? Grasping at straws for a chance that this may work for Emily as well?

Thanks girls! See think is i have never had tooth ache before this, i have never even had so much as a filling, i just get my teeth cleaned when i go to the dentist..

Congrats on evans block stacking!!!! The paediatrician suggested we give K a shot at scribbling with crayons at our 1 year checkup.... turns out she is a pro at it... she even colours in the lines.... kidding

and an added bonus she likes putting the crayons in the box and taking them out... over and over again

have had them since I was young.

Shame man Kerry!!! I really hope it eases soon! At least it's not infected. My dentist told me to remeber they had actually been digging around in my jaw bone, it's not just a simple tooth extraction..

How is K doing? Shame, she probably didnt understand why mommy was so sad :'(

We finished painting the kitchen wall and I'm loving it

I forgot Evan's prodol at home this morning, I got back to the school to give it to him and he was sitting there quietly building block towers. You know, stacking the building blocks one on top of the other! I was so surprised to see that I must also tell you, the iron supplement is the bomb! Its the only thing that has been changed, and you will not believe the difference in my child. He is sleeping through! 4 nights in a row now. No dummy duty, no extra milk, nothing. He is going down at 7, waking between 4:30 - 5:40 for his morning bottle and then sleeping until 6 - 6:30 am! Oh the joy!! And I had asked so many times before if I should be giving him extra iron and I was told no because he gets enough from his food / formula. Clearly not. And, the iron he is on is easy on his tummy so no change in his stools Sorry tmi but I am thrilled.

HELLO! I am back.... still very very sore... I look like a chipmunk storing up for Hibernation! and my two cheeks started out purple and are now that yellowy green colour.... Seriously!

I think i learned a lesson though... when a very experienced specialist tells you its gonna hurt.... don't freaking scoff at him!

I hit an all time low on tuesday evening when K accidentally punched me on the sore spot while i was carrying her... DH came home to me in tears in the bathroom! He then phoned the dentist and asked for some stronger meds as i had finished my hospital issue meds and they werent helping at any rate...

He went and fetched them and came home with voltaren suppositories - amd mypaid forte tablets... and a pro-biotic and antibiotics...

then yesterday i had to go to the dentist so he could just check to see there was no infection or anything - there wasnt, but the bugger cleaned the wound and stitches with a water spray.... grr that hurt!

Ah well anyhow... I am sure i will be better one day... i really hope to eat again soon... and enjoying my food would be an added bonus
