Hey you guys,

Sorry for being MIA. I've been in so much pain the past two weeks, I seriously need to go check into rehab....to detox from all the pain meds.

Last week I had fabrio something in my neck, 4 injections in my neck later got that kinda sorted. Can someone say OUCHY!!!!!

Sunday I got a lovely absess in my tooth. Got meds yesterday but went back today for some more....finished a box of pain meds during the night. Screwed up my tummy completely! Urgh. And the absess is nowhere near gone.

I went for an Interview a week ago and they called me back last friday for a second interview, would like the job, but seriously currently I'm so hopped up on painmeds I couldn't give a flying fart in space. I've been camping at my mom's for two days as I don't want to be drinking pain meds while looking after my baby. I usually don't even drink a panado while she's alone with me. Apparently we were only 2 called back for the interview.

Iz cut 2 kiestande last week!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Geez, people, not for the faint hearted. She was sooo clingy and niggly. Little missy is now walking all over the place.

The diet is going well. Lost 3kgs and total of 9cm's. Though today I gave in and had some sushi.

The girls are writing exams so its hectic.

We went for a family photoshoot, the pics came out absolutely gorgeous. Will post some.

Bay K, I am so glad John's loving his play group :) It must be a huge relief for you! I have also resorted to sticking my head in the sand, I get too depressed about all the crime stories around... I have heard some babies struggle with full cream because of the extra protiens and fat. I know lactogen 3 is a very "heavy" formula so it might be a bit too heavy for his tummy? Evan's still loving his Nido.

Flowergirl - Evan also only seems to have 1 long nap or 2 short naps in the day - depending. I love the tyre idea :) very cool. They're such monkeys now! I hope she starts sleeping better so you can get some rest! I feel our pain. Evan still wakes at least twice a night and with him having fevers over the weekend it was 100 x worse :(

Robyn, Shame man sweeety. I hate getting stuck in the middle. Especially when it comes to having to defend my family... I hope it is better now... Evan also only walks if he's holding a finger, my pant leg etc etc... His vocab is also growing slowly.

Jeanine, congrats on the interviews! That is wondeerful - the more the merrier. :) Shame poor Willem... It could be the tummy bug doing the rounds at the moment or maybe the combination of the milks.

As for Evan. Friday he started with crazy fevers 39.1 at school. I rushed him to the paed and he could find NOTHING wrong with him?? The fever eventually subsided on Sunday. He was a little miserable at school still yesterday. He hasnt eaten much since friday... He was happier this morning and had only woken once in the evening for his dummy. He didnt cry when i dropped him off this morning so lets see. He has mastered "There". He points with his index finger and says "there" to us when he see something new, interesting etc. He is still a bit off his milk, but i dont mind too much because I'd really like him to stop the 2:30am bottle. The paed also put him on an iron supplement, maybe that will help too.. He also pushes his dad away when I am holding him. Turns his head etc. Will play happpily with daddy other times just not when I have him. Oh and he threw a full on strop this morning. I closed his toy box lid, he crawled up to it, saw it was closed lay himself flat on the ground and started crying! Oh boy - welcome to tantrum land! He also points to things if I tell him what it is and then ask him to show me eg. the Lion he will point to the lion i'd just shown him :)

Oh shame Robyn, thats awful. Glad its kind of resolved now though. Its really tough trying to please parents and in-laws without upsetting husbands as well. I'm sorry girl. Maybe they just need some time out from each other for a while and then things will be better.

Jeanine, shame too my friend, not a good night at all and now you have interviews. Good luck with the interviews btw! Has Willem ever had formula? Maybe try give him less cows milk and mix it with formula if you are running out of EBM. Then increase the cows milk slowly again.

I'm still giving John lactogen 3 and nido and exposing him very slowly to cows milk as he definitely has a problem with it. In fact I've realised that he doesn't spit up from nido but he still does from lactogen 3, I think its because there is cows milk in lactogen. He can eat flavoured low fat yogurts now without a problem, but plain yogurt still makes him sick and we stay away from full cream. A friend had the same problem with her boy and gave him full cream milk diluted with water, which worked - I haven't tried that yet but I want to.
But John is also fine with custard and cheese is not really a problem either. I think it takes a while for their digestive systems to cope with it all.
Shame good luck, I hope Willem is better today!

Hi Ladies,

Very busy, so just quickly checking in...

Started sending my CV out, and got a great response - going for an interview(s) almost every day this week (granted, most are with the recruitment agencies, but gotta start somewhere ;))

Had a hectic night last night. At around 10pm, Willem was feeling restless, tossing and turning, I was standing next to his cot, patting his back - next second - projectile vomit .
He spent half the night throwing up. We were up till 2am this morning, changing bedding, changing clothes, wiping down baby. He flat out refused to drink rehidrat, but at least had some tea and water.

We started him on cow's milk in the last week. We know he has no problem with milk, he had plenty of milk products before - custard, ice cream ect . And MIL has also been adding a little to his cereal to get him used to it.
However, yesterday he had only half a bottle of EBM, and then he had another half a bottle of cow's milk - by far the most he has had before.

Not sure if the milk could have caused the vommiting. Hope not, cause with all the interviews, I've had to stop expressing at work, so from today onwards he only gets cow's milk during the day.
