Flower, these girls have got the worst tempers! And oh so demanding! Iz started pinching me when I say No!

Emily has not discovered the full blown tantrum yet, but she does screech when she wants something and you don't give it to her. Also, she pulled this little trick with my mother yesterday:
My mom was teaching her colours upstairs in her "classroom" yesterday and she learnt to say blue. Then later on when they were downstairs, my mom was playing with her on her playmat and my mom said to her: "Emily, say Blue". Oh my word, she started screaming and pointing upstairs and getting really agitated so my mom starts laughing because she thinks its cute that she remembers that the colors are upstairs. Emily crawls closer to my mom and keeps pointing upstairs and "asking" to go there. She sees that my mom is still laughing and really gets upset by this, so she plants a MASSIVE smack across my mom's face!!! My mom said it was so loud that it sounded like an adult smack!! I can't believe this child - when she wants something, she wants it NOW!!!! THe temper!!!

Hectic week over, another one ahead....ag what am I saying we have one HECTIC month ahead.

Iz is walking all over the place, running, getting up to all kinds of mischief. Luckily we are 4 people in the house chasing after her. Which make is bit easier.

Iz also gets her eating spree's. She only eats less when there is a toofie on the way. She is getting so cute, says "kla" and throws her hands in the air. When something is finished. Oh and we discovered the glorious TANTRUM! Whenever something doesn't go her way, she drops to the floor and screams!!!!!



I've decided to open my own little business. So sleep have been few and far between. I've been sourching suppliers from 2am every night the past week. Been sorting out my office, etc.

well what a weekend, firstly was too short, such a rush with a baby. next time I am not going only for two days gonna be longer, we have DH brothers wedding end of October, so we have to go again for the weekend... but def taking few days off

K was so otherwise, she was mom fussed and did not want to go to anyone, she just cried, so unlike her but also everyone is strangers to her. She does not see the familes often, its sad and now she understands more, who is strangers

so the weather was crap, it rained. so we could not have the party at the falls, we had to have it at DH mothers house in kloof. was still nice but K was in my arms all weekend, did not want to be put down either, my left arm and back was so strained

did not want her father even... but when we got back sunday afternoon, she just wanted the arms few times and then went right down on floor and played ....she is normal now, WTH ? maybe its fimiliar teritory in her own house

shame I felt bad for both families as they were so looking forward to seeing K and loving her and holding her, but she wanted none of that. they could not believe how she was, she is normally such a friendly baby and goes to anyone....

hope in october, she is back to her normal self when they see her again...

she looked so cute in her polka dot dress, we did not even get happy photos of her... anyway ....

I thought it was her 3/4 teeth coming out but i dont know,she was fine all along.

K has her 1 year jabs tomorrow ... she normally does not cry, lets see this time, as she did not want the paed to touch her last week.... strangers anexiety !

Oh my word Flowergirl! But John's appetite has also gone a bit haywire. On Saturday he was so hungry he was stuffing cream crackers in his mouth while I was trying to rustle up something appropriate to give him when we were at friends for a braai (the food was far from ready) - this was after he already had lunch and teething biscuits!
quite often over the last week or so he has had 2nd breakfast or 2nd lunch too, Just like Emily! Must be a growth spurt again, and all the crawling/ climbing!

Hey ladies

Emily is getting much more confident now, but still has not gotten up and walked. She is sooo careful, it's funny. But this last week I can see that she is testing the limits a bit - slowly but surely. She climbs up and down the stairs so nicely now that we decided to leave the gates open yeterday - she absolutely loved it. DH was downstairs and I was upstairs and she was up and down between the 2 of us. I made her a little "class" at home. I am quite happy with how it came out - will post some pics tomorrow, forgot my camera at home today.

Her appetite is also crazy all of a sudden. I swear she eats more than me!! This is what she had yesterday:

Breakfast: Bowl of cereal and a tub of yoghurt
Morning Snack: 1 scrambled egg and slice of toast!!! (this was when we had breakfast)
Snack: 2 rice cakes and box of raisins
Lunch: Butternut, Sweet Potato and Lamb bredie
Afternoon Snack 1: 3 Cocktail Cheese vienna's, cheese cubes and strawberries
Afternoon Snack 2: Fruit Stick and 3 mini marie biscuits
Supper: Woolies Chicken NoodleDoo

I cannot believe how much she eats, I think I might have her dewormed! She is permanently hungry!!

You should do it, I missed him but i told myself I needed the break and they could cope without me. I did leave a detailed list of instructions and set our each meal for Evan before I left.

We just stayed at a place on the vaal marina. Nothing to do but drink, eat and talk - it was brilliant. Oh and we watched all our guilty sin TV - Style (fashion police), E! (True hollywood stories) etc. 6 girls gone wild. Lovely Next time we will do clarence / dullstroom or a bush break.
