Eloise - that does make sense.

Gynae definitely said Connor's head is down low. This was at the last 2 appointments - I even got to feel his head :)

Hopefully the pressure means that he's bearing down and getting into proper position!

Another thing to consider is that your baby might be lying transverse.

My LG still moves quite a bit and she will ly either transverse or oblique (diagonal) and that makes my belly look like it is really low because she is laying low but her head is most definitely not engaged.

Does that make sense?

I'm definitely feeling a lot more pressure down there.

Sometimes uncomfortable and sometimes sore.

Mainly in the morning though.

Definitely going to toilet more often!

I just hope he drops in time :) I'm sure he will because he's been a very good boy for Mommy!

i dont actually know, on tuesday she said he hadnt dropped yet but funny enough two days later i noticed my tummy lower..... I dont actually know when it should happen but i think for first time moms anytime between 2 to 4 weeks up to birth it can happen (although i am 5 weeks)... i didnt drop huge, just seemed lower than normal, etc....so i could be wrong as well!!! i heard you may feel a bit more pressure than normal on your pelvis and bladder although that hasnt happened i dont think with me... tried to google a few things now but couldnt really find anything concrete.

Thanks ladies

Skyler - I don't think my bump has dropped yet though. Saw gynae on Friday and he said baby's head is down where it should be but didn't say much else.

I still feel like Connor is sitting quite high up, my bump still touches the boobs :)

By when should my bump drop?

Skyler you are right - for baby 1 your belly does drop sooner - if you are on baby 2/3 etc then your belly drops soon before labour begins.
