I am a very skeptical person by nature so always try and stay away from these kind of things.

Only thing that "worries" me is its R139 per month and you get all those things.... which is way over R139 so really how are they making their money and how can it be genuine then?

I came upon a thread in Moomie under Baby called :What’s in a R100.00”.

Anyway, the company is called supreme pregnancy and I phoned them and e-mailed them throughout the morning and they seem genuine. This is what they offer:

-free baby bag with all your hospital requirements, for both mother and baby
- Fruit basket upon delivery
-After the birth, you will receive the following on a monthly basis:
- 1 packet baby diapers
- 1 packet baby wipes
- 2 baby soaps
- 1 baby lotion
- 1 baby Vaseline
- 1 baby powder
- 1 bum cream

(They give you a list of name brands/products to choose from).

The membership is R100 per month for anyone 24 weeks and under. And R139 for anyone over 24 weeks pregnant. I already submitted my application and they gave me the membership for R100 per month, because I am there first member. They also said that if I can refer 5 pregnant women and copy her in my e-mail, she will send me a free gift in my hospital bag. By the way, the hospital bag will be sent to me in 7 working days.

Hope you are all well.

I had a lot to read on but can't remember everything now....

I am 37 weeks this week, going for my appointment on Wednesday, and will update thereafter.

Ladies, let me tell you that as the days gets closer it becomes more and more difficult to get stuff done. I wish someone had told me this earlier, I would have done all my chores earlier on and not left everything for last minute. I am at home now, baby is still active, but I get lots of cramps and aches all day. Nights are the worst, I just can't get comfortable to sleep.

I asked my doc as well as the fetal assessment sonographer this and they maintain that I must stick to the origninal earlier EDD as at that time all fetus are the same size and is the most accurate for dating.

So YES. But to ease your mind be sure to ask this question to your gyne and hopefully you'll get that verification as well.
