Hey ladies

So DH finally got the letter to say what his bonus and increase will be.

We are happy with the bonus because we can get everything for Connor but
the increase is such a joke. Really disappointed, I had a melt down.

DH won't be able to get a car and we won't be able to get full time maid.

I am however relieved that we don't have to skimp on Connor's list.

It has a built in room thermometer and is a newer model. Struggling to find
so might have to go for white one if can't find.

Giggles - sorry to hear about BP and protein.

Wow guys started training my temp today - so no time to chat... had to read thru loads now... but wont be able to respond to everyone...

To those who had showers and expecting - yeah!!

Giggles - I had BP go up but no protein yet. If it goes to an unacceptable level they will need to take baby out for your & baby's safety. But baby is a good weight and age now and you will be fine!

Oh no Giggles. Shame man, that doesnt sound good. We have the same due date, and to date I havent had any problems either. Next appointment next week Tues. glad you have been booked off work and are now resting. Keep us posted.

Sorry to hear.

The HB & Protein are indicators of Pre-eclampsia. Other signs are Headaches, swelling, abdominal pain.

It can hinder babys growth. But you are far enough along that it shouldnt be too much of an issue. Just watch your stress and keep your bp down.

Dont worry overmuch, especially if doc says that 38 weeks is still fine.

I have a lot of catching up to do.

Congrats Maureen - welcome to Jamie.

I went for my 35 week appointment today, Baby is 2.1kg. I have protein in my urine and High Blood pressure. Never had this in any of my visits before.

I am so scared and disspointed. Did a blood test today, will get results tomorrow and then we will take from there. If my Blood Pressure increases and the level of protein is very high, then I will have to go in for a ceaser at 38 weeks.

Does anyone know anything about how does protein in the urine affect pregnancy?

Oh and I am officially booked off work. So will chat when I can.
