Mrs SH - Your long weekend sounds lovely, I am glad you had such a great time. See you at class tonight.

Maureen - congratulations on Jamie's birth!!!!

We are starting with LG's room this week. Yesterday we bought paint, carpet, etc. for her room and we also ordered her bedding. So can't wait to get started.

The last 2 days I struggle with extreme heartburn. I even wake up in the evening from it. And then after I drink gaviscon, LG and I are wide awake and I just lay there. Guess it is my body preparing me to get up in the evening for LG.

I don't want to start the whole discovery thing again but I phoned them on monday and the told me I can't register my pregnancy for PMB. I think I am just going to leave it.

Seeing my gynea tomorrow at 9. Can't wait to see how much LG has grown.

Oh and hubby felt her kick for the 1st time last night. Was such a special moment!! I was starting to worry that he will never feel her. I am so glad that he did.

G - my baba been low since start and must say I dont like it very much grrrrrrrrr

re - libido shame man but I decided that if dh' wants to then I will pretend effort LOL - leave lights off LOL as I think that once baba is there I wont even muster the energy for pretending for a few mnths so at least now I am not so tired yet

g - also making baba come early I have decided that I will avoid wk 36 and 37 with loving just for precaution then from 38 again to hopefull prevent too long overdue but up to then I rckon it would be ok

Morning ladies.such good news about maureen,just glad she and baby is ok.
Quite big for 35 weeks,my girl was only 2.75kg at 37.5 weeks(when she was born).
Alex-dont know what my baby is weighting now at 30 weeks he was 1.5kg,going 13 May to gine again then I will be 34 weeks.

Know this is private but eish my libido just down in the dumps(never picked up this pregancy),my poor husband. Realy trying but the baby is realy low and I'm so scared that he might come earlier due to this.
I can fit a whole hand between my ribs and belly when I stand up straight,he defnitly dropped(lightning)....

I had surprise babyshower this wknd from my 08 pampers mummy group - WOW it was awsome, unfortunantely it rained out and the venue we picked for our meet was outside so awe had to move meet to my house LOL - so the girls had to surprise me that way

Anyway they decided on nautical theme and I got some very nice stay-covered bedding from VIX, then I got towels, clothes, toys, books, wipes, shoes, bibs, socks etc Very cute all the blue compared to pink 1st tiem around

re - wahing baby hospitals advise for 1st few mnths to get Cetaphil its a blue pump cntainer and the cream matching is nutraderm - its gentle and u only use the bottle up after about 5mnths - for those going to mediclinic u get the set included in maternity bag

keep tags on girl - u will be suprised what excess one has in the end

must say I am lucky once again have no tiredness but didnt with lea either

hey ladies well had a lovely long weekend so been sooooo out of touch with what everyone is up to!!! feel sooooo refreshed today although didnt want to wake up this morning. I have 6 and a half weeks till breyton arrives and 4 and a half till maternity cant wait!

Discovery!!!! well i got approved for PMB (mini yay) BUT maureen this is riduclous but they approved me for code 0191 AND my gynae uses 0190 for flip sakes! and with you its opposite what are they up to!

Lucy - so glad you get an extra one weeks leave off you deserve shame you have had such a horrible time!

Oh yes and WOW maureen had her little one!!! Sweet first one of us to have their baby

Eve - dont worry we dont have much either!!! reason being is that i want to wait for my baby shower before i buy stuff and i havent had it yet!!!! but i agree its hard not to get stressed......

Mrs S H its difficult hey there are numerous days when i feel huge and fat!! But then i have to stop and realise i am growing a little person!

Also ladies i dont think anyone has this BUT i have two huge red patches on my upper thighs at the back.... you know if you cross your legs you get that "blood" spot where your legs crossed, well it looks like that but one long rectangular one on each thigh.... as if i get it from sitting.... BUT it does not ever go away its become permanent am very down, was at doc on monday about a mole so decided to show him and he doesnt really know... he said it could just be my blood vessels have come more to the surface but it shouldnt be permant and i must check it after pregnancy,..... flip i hope its not permant who wants a large red patch on each thigh????

Shoo, what a way to start a morning - fantastic news about Maureen and Jamie!

I've posted the status update on the HELP topic because ladies are asking about her.

Made me sit up and think about Connor perhaps coming early. I'm starting to stress because we don't have much and if DH's company screws us over again at the end of this month with no bonus or increase, I'm actually going to crack. They normally get a letter in advance to say what they can expect, and there has been no letter yet!!

Lucy - I also feel like peanut butter now, but I woke up with heartburn so maybe that's a no no for me.

Mrs SH - I know what you mean about money. I used to earn an awesome salary and used to spend and splurge as I wished. Now I have to rely on DH and it's pressure on him. It sucks but we get by!! I told my mom that even though we're in the tightest financial situation that we've ever been in, I couldn't be happier and I couldn't love DH more - it makes me feel good because I know that through good times and bad, we were meant to be together!!

Yay Maureen! I'm so happy that you're both doing fine! Can't wait to hear the story! She is such a brave girl! Jamie has shown all of us to be ready at any time and also that our babies will now survive if they are born from now on.

Shame Lucy...although now you've made me want peanut butter on toast.

I am in a mood today. Someone might get hurt. I squeezed into my stupid gym clothes today which really no longer fit me and went with him to gym. Instead of feeling good afterwards I just felt fat and humiliated. Anyway, I need to stop being so vain and remember how blessed I am in so many other ways. It's just hard sometimes. Specially early in the morning...!

Alex - I spoke to my mom last night and told her that I'm stressing that we dont' have enough stuff but that we can't really afford to buy more at the moment etc. She reckons not to buy another thing because once the baby is born, everyone is going to want to give you stuff. So maybe your family is holding off until baby is actually there. I don't think it's as real for them as it is for us.

Oh and flip do I feel you about the money thing!!! My whole salary since February has gone into the mortgage/saving as we're trying to save for when I'm stop working. This means that I have to ask DH for money for ANYTHING ranging from waxes, clothes and buying stuff for our boy. And my poor DH really does his best, but some months we just haven't been able to buy the stuff that we wanted and I'm constantly going on about it. It sucks. I'm putting so much pressure on him and I feel so guilty about it, but I'm not use to relying on anyone for money and now all of a sudden, I don't have a dime to my name!

Sorry, I'm all negative this morning. Think I need a nice skinny decaf late to make me feel better...

I miss Starbucks!
