Mrs SH - No, we don't think your are freaks even after that comment. It was my hubby who started the whole thing by asking what they do with the placenta afterwards. I mean, really???? We still laughed about his comment when we came home and hubby said it does look like a piece of steak. You don't have to worry about us, we always see the lighter and funny side of things. Life is too serious! That's why we enjoy the classes so much, because at the end of the night our faces hurt from all the laughing!

I think it is a great idea to meet after LO's are born.

Simone - that is fantastic news - I would have cried heheheh - well done, enjoy your shopping :) Hope DH gets work soon if he hasn't already.

Mrs SH - my DH would probably be nervous in a class and then just blurt out something like that - hehehehe, very funny! He also jokes about drinking breast milk - that too is just a no no topic for me but he thinks it's hilarious.

Happy to meet up anytime - just name the date and the place. We can either meet at someone's house or we can meet a shopping mall and do a little "window shopping" as well hehehehehe

Skyler - great idea, I'm editing mine now

Simone - fantastic news.

Ladies, you know I actually dread the discussion of ceaser and natural. We decided (gynae, hubby and myself) to settle for a ceaser but we have tried to tell some people that ask, and we always get the 3rd degree. So now we decided not to talk about it to anyone. I don't understand why people just can't respect you for the decision you have made.

Its our decision to make, not anyone elses.

Simone - firstly that's AWESOME and also welcome back! We miss everyone! Now, most importantly, where are you going shopping?

Eloise - ag man, the more the merrier. You can ignore them when they're there - but they're only allowed in if they have presents!!! It's a bit weird that she's made an open group - she's just got realise that they're catering for everyone AND helping clean up afterwards! It is your baby shower and you're suppose to put your feet up whilst other people scurry around with you.

Thanks Ronel - we think you and your hubby are very much like us. We were cringing and laughing at the same things. I was a bit worried that people were going to think we're freaks after DH's 'eating the placenta' comment. You know, I've never been so embaressed!!

Yes ladies, DH read somewhere that some celebrities actuall eat the placenta. He of course thinks it's grouse etc etc. But then last night's video at antenatal showed the placenta and we had a bit of a discussion about it and ja, my DH goes and tells everyone that people eat it. We've met these people twice! I literally almost wet myself! Told DH on the way home that they're going to have get togethers and not invite us as they'll be terrified of us bringing placenta to braai!!!!

Anyway, it's quite funny actually - in context.

Eve - I'm keen to meet with the CT ladies. I'm not working from 21 May onwards and think I may just go a bit loopey. And then when LB is born, it'll be nice to see the baba's. So we can always arrange a coffee date or something when everyone is on maternity leave or mothers-in-waiting?
