Hi everyone

I get pins and needles on the outside of my left leg, just above my knee. My leg goes numb. It happens randomly and not necessarily when I sleep on my left side.

We have aqua aerobics tonight as part of our antenatal classes and I just don't have any energy today. Wish I could just crawl into bed. Luckily I have arranged with hubby to make supper tonight.

This last few days the heartburn is killing me!

I have to get up each evening in the last week to go to the loo between 2 and 3 am. Do you ladies think this is when LG will be awake or is it just a coincidence?

Thanks Eve! Im actually doing okay, just needed the outlet I think. I'll be using my feminine wiles to force DH to go get some meds from the doctor soon! Thats that!

Lucy - my doc want to see me every 2 weeks now and at this rate my savings wont cover. Please can you send me those forms so that I can apply for PMB as well! eloise.williams@uct.ac.za

Mrs SH - So glad your kitty came home!

Well I guess I don't qualify then - no BP problems and not having a c-section - dash it!!

Jellybaby - it happens to me as well - it's the weight of our bodies on certain veins etc that take blood to that part of the body. Nothing to worry about. I asked gynae about sleeping on left side etc, because I love to sleep on my right side but he said if things go numb, you know you must turn over, but otherwise it's not a major.

hey ladies

Oh discovery confuse me totally.... lucy let me know how it goes and i might see what i can do, i was also under the impression you had to have a high risk pregnancy but then the email i got back from them didnt say that, flip i cant handle it!

Jellybaby are you lying on yoru side or back? does it only happen when you lie on one specific side? You coudl be lying on an artery or something which can cause that, i know that the left side is better tahn the right side but my gynae said if i have no problems on my right then i can sleep there but if i start getting problems should stay on the left :)

Good luck with Discovery. It's so confusing, I can't believe how crap they are with giving out information! As long as it doesn't affect your in-hospital cover, it sounds great.
