Nelria - I remember you mentioning the emla patch and I had it on my list but then I found the emla cream in my medicine cupboard. Do you think that the tube of cream will work the same as the patch? If not, I'll just go and get a couple of patches ehheheheheheh

There is so many of us,just cant remember who's next. Well Nelria you and I should be close together!! Glad that Xen is doing well,2.8kg not bad at all for 37 weeks. Thats what Zelri weight at 37.5 weeks when she was born.
Was it an internal check up? I am so not looking forword to mine next week wednesday.

eve - have u bought your EMLA patch yet??? (shit still need mine lol) all u do is when u get to hospital u willl be told how far dialted u are u then ask nurses when is good time for emla and ask them to stick it in spot after 45min-2hrs u are 100% completely numb and u wont feel epi at all - my dad puts emla on his foot then we cut with scalpel to remove corns and he doesnt feelit

afm - gynae this morning xen is 2.8kg at 37wks 2days - growing but very slowly (but she reckons that is just the way my babes grow

bad news is the umbilical is around his neck so at 1st sign of labour i need to rush in and then might be tricky natural (not impossible) or might end in emergency c-sec so I am a bit concerned as i really really really need the natural as i hav emy cling-on to think of afterwards so recovery will be a BIATCH!! - but what can one do i guess onlyu on the day this will be revealed

Lucy good luck for monday it is so exciting!!
Eve I had with both my previous births epidurals-
No need to worry not bad at all. They can give you one before 8cm dialated,not after that anymore.
It is also not painfull(like a injection) and realy brings great relieve after the contractions. I could move my legs,and pull them up and down,but some said that they couldnt. After you've got your feeling in legs back you can get up and have a bath.
No need to lie down for some time like spinal block.
I didnt get any headaches after words as some say the do.

I would realy recomend a epidural,Both my births was wonderful experiece.

Had a tummy bug or something last night,had bad diaree. Over now,just the heartburn that just wont go away!!!
