James was slightly better tonight - only up 2 times so hopefully things are starting to get easier??

Bronz graeme is so clever sitting:)

Desiree hope tonight was easier and happy 7 months toconnor!

James is 6 months today. He now weighs 7.5kg and is 65 cm tall!

@ Bronz - congrats on G sitting - too cute!!! Yes - we did a bit of a runner! Hubby is well connected in the film industry - so we did a sneaky... and Tayla was doing a class act before we arrived... screaming so loud that i nearly drove into another car! So wanted to get in and out before she screamed the place down! Can't make a habit of the jumping a Q thing... ppl are going to hunt me down :)

We did the shoot as a call back.. not too sure how it went. She didn't smile once for them so now we just wait and see. I'm never sure how to read them though - the first casting we went for they made no reaction at all.. and she didn't smile in the slightest and she got the job... maybe they were looking for serious babies... ha ha ha!

Got another casting tomorrow - but prob won't make that one...

Going to try chicken livers with T this week... i know all the veggies on the chat won't have been down this road already - anyone else been there and have any tips? Just thought chicken might be a little difficult to mush!?!?

@Bronz - AWESOME!! congrats to Graeme....and to you mommy, well done!!

@ScribblinGal - boohoo, I was looking forward to seeing u all again!! ok....we'll have to do this at some stage, and before our babies are all TOO OLD...h ehe

@Claudia - I've also had 3 successive bad nights in a row now, Connor has been very restless...and waking up hourly from midnight - I've check and hes not too hot....or cold....but, he has gotten 2 teeth in the last week, so I figured it was maybe that? do you think the teeth could still bother him even though they've cut throgh the gums? Im going to let him sleep in my bed tonight, hubby is away again, so Im playing single mommy & Im just going to be lazy!!

@Jacadebra - I've added you as a friend on facebook - LOVE your pics of Lia

@Nicky - nope, I think little Kara (Adri's baby girl) was the first to get teeth.....I think Connor may be the first to get 2 at the same time though, he he - sorry your little one is a bit sick..hope she's better soon!

My beautiful baby boy, Connor Troy, was born on 20 March 2010 and my 2nd gorgeous boy, Cullen Reece, was born on 2 September 2011 - I am very blessed indeed

Claudia_B, Emily did that waking thing for about three weeks - which is what you predicted. Thankfully she seems to be over it, so just hang in there. I know it's cold comfort when you have to get up five times a night, but remember how many times we used to get up in the beginning!? I'm not sure about Cerelac - Emily's on Holle millet, which isn't sweet at all - but I know that there is a whole theory behind starting babies on fruit rather than veggies precisely because breastmilk is so sweet. Quite frankly, I think it's all much of a muchness. Emily's also very messy with a spoon.

Ha ha on the dos and don't before baby arrived. I'm so with you on that Beansmom. It was actually really horrible because for every one I missed I felt as though I had failed. Consequently my report card is full of red Fs. But I'm getting over it.

Bronz, G's hitting those milestones fast! Emily still only sits for a few seconds and she's quite a bit older than him. Good luck for those exams - I know how you feel! I'm taking a bit of study leave in November to try and make a bit of headway with mine.

Nicky, sorry about Katie being sick. Hopefully she'll get over it soon. What do you do with her during the day now that she's not in creche? I had such a giggle at your baby no2 and no3 comment. You are one brave woman! We're still standing by our "never again" statement. Keep us posted on the interview status. Holding thumbs for you.

Hey all. James is still doing his frequent waking thing and its driving me bananas. I hope it passes soon because aside from nights he is still his happy normal self! Last night was the worst. He woke at 3:30 and thought it was play time! Hubby eventually took him at 4 so I could get a little sleep, and he only got James back to bed at 5:30!

Gave James some cerelac today. I was worried because so man moms have said its too sweet, but honestly last week I gave him nestum with breastmilk in it and that was sooooooo much sweeter. I guess formula isnt as sweet as breastmilk? He is very messy with a preloaded spoon, but he seemed to enjoy it!
