hi ladies
FINALLY!!!! Been trying to post since yesterday!
Long time! Firstly, I have no been paid - only because I demanded it! Secondly, I have applied to a few 'good' schools in my area and have 3 interviews scheduled!! Hold thumbs please
Scribblingal: I love the 'don't judge me'. I always have Katie in the bumbo while I get dinner going so that I can actually eat at a reasonable hour.

If I wait for hubby to get home and then start, we'll eat at 8pm!
My Dad has arrived to help out for a few days - he's retired and my mom is still working, so he gets palmed off on me a few times a year. I don't mind, he's super to have around
Katie's not been sleeping for the last week (catching up with the posts, I saw I'm not alone). I took her to the paed today instead of the 26th for her check up and to ask WTH is going on. He checked everything out as she's also pulling on her ear a lot. He found absolutely nothing wrong with her. She's 66cm and 8.6kg at 5.5 months. He told me that ... get this ... she's dreaming! Or, to be exact, having nightmares. My poor nunu. It makes sense though as she's unsettled in her sleep, but a soft touch or dummy and she's asleep again. Those are her two best comforting things hehe.
Anyhow, he said to vasbyt as it will pass. He also said to start meats EEEECK! I'm very nervous about this, but will try some purity meats first. Anyone else's baba's on meat? How do you make it? Boiled, baked, fried? A whole new thing to work me up!
@Meags: Katie's movement really did feel like gas for me - I wasn't sure if I should leave the room or call everyone to feel. I got the 2 confused a few times
My next question is if any of you live in the Kempton park area? I'd like to know people's opinions on day care/creche's in the area. Got a few mixed emotions.
Good thing I copied the post cause my 3G bombed out before it went through.
Have a great day!
