That really should be the last thing you
should be worrying about :)
Its something you really have no control over and as long as he is healthy ...I promise you that is all that is gonna matter to both of you in the end regardless.
I understand the crying ...I bawled my eyes out
when the sonographer said its a girl  but luckily she understood...for what I cried
I can't remember why the crying cos my doc had said the prev month he highly suspected it was a girl so I knew.
I guess we get emotional from time to time ;)

Also I promise he will come around ...if not now... Give him a chance to just absorb it.
PS - Don't cry and get upset cos these little ones feed off our emotions and when you are
sad so are they. And wait for what your gynae says also .....(((((((HUGS))))))))

Thanks ladies for the comforting words..

I really hope DH bonds with this LB... also, thing is i feel that the person that did the 4D just might have made a mistake, i need to confirm with my Gynae if it is indeed a boy, but i'll have to wait till next week for that.

I love my baby no matter what it is, but now i'm holding onto that lil hope that she was wrong and that my gynae will say its a gal, just for DH's sake. He really wanted a gal and kept saying what he would do etc, he never ever spoke of a boy ..I actually cried when i found out, not because i was sad but because of DH and i knew how much he wanted a gal...

and for the record, now my date is indeed 10 sept!

Jewel B)

I am ok now thanks! :)
Got a few of those jerseys that open in the front so I'm ok for the Winter I hope ;)

Baby is fine :) she is starting to really get active now and I am enjoying it.
I bought her a few baby grow's and headbands  ( I couldn't resist) and a pair of size 0 slippers that say "Mummy's Princess" ....
Abdul Malik is ok and he gets really excited for school now. I am so proud of him because there is a 4 year old in his class that goes to creche and on Sat the teacher asked them to walk
on a balance beam and then jump on a few shapes that were different colours and they had to say what the shape and the colours were.
My big boy knew all and the 4 year old didn't.
Needless to say his Mummy looked a bit shy :P
while I was so proud of Abdul Malik :cheer:

How are you and Zack doing?

Salaamz Everyone :)

I posted this looooong reply, but when I clicked on submit, it didnt go through

Mom2b, Congrats on the lil boy! Im sure u must be so excited! As Meekah said, dont stress about the bonding with dh, it will just come naturally, as u go for your scans he will fall more in love with his lb & when he sees him for the 1st time he will be in love :)

Hey Meekah, How is the lil baba doing? Are u still trying to fit into your clothes? hehe.

U are so right! Boys are real mommies boys! Most of the time Z only wants me... and if i leave the room to go somewhere, he asks his dad where I am

Isha, how is the lil madam doing in there?

Hope all the other preg ladies are doing well!

Nov2010mom .... Welcome.

Slms

Congrats Mom2b :) Alhamdullilah!
I am sure you are both happy about your SON :)
I can only say that things may seem that way now but once your dh see's your lb it's a whole
different story!
My DH wanted a boy though with Abdul Malik and he was very proud because all of his friends had girls at the time :)
He will bond and so will you, I think it must just sink in and then your heart will start to
flutter whenever you see a Lb around.
One thing though son's are real Mummy's boy's.
I would shift heaven and earth for mine and he
knows it even though he is only 3.
What he shares with his father though is really special and I make sure that as much time as he spends with me, he gets with his father as well.
No need to worry about the bonding between the
2 of them...it will happen.
And with a first baby it's hard for the daddy's to bond so fast cos they aren't going through what you are now with the pg so it only becomes "real" once the little princes are born.

Salaam Ladies

Lol @ Isha...Im luckily moving away from the bushes in the near future...GOSH how do you ladies survive living so far from well from EVERYTHING. Getting to the M5 Alone is a mission LOL  :P

Mom2B CONGRATS!! So the scan showed a boy I take it but you couldnt see the baby on the scan properly? Hope I understood that properly.

The Dr says that he THINKS its a girls as he couldnt see much only the babies back LOL. I must admit I feel the same as you as DH really wanted a boy and still keeps that little hope that it still could be a boy as the dr was only guessing. So I have the same fear of how he will bond! Though I was told that they get over it and love the baby regardless of the gender I still cant shake that feeling off. Guess I was just hoping that he be super excited regardless of the sex. If anyone can put mom2b mind at ease please do as it will help me too... :S
