Lol, possibly, I'm just a bit weak when it comes to fasting through Ramadaan..but when those last 10 days hit..shoo.

Mom2b Im also due on the 10 September! Shame man MIL cant be all that bad...besides chances are the baby born in the 2 weeks before the expected due date...i think

yea firefly i also did the the taking of the pill so as not to be able to catch up, but i couldnt fast when preggies with my secon one.. but did while breastfeeding my eldest,he was only 3mths but i survived with grapejuice and berry elixer.. Last year gyne didnt want me to as we were going for hajj and she didnt want me to mess with the cycles..
mom2be.. i know as much as Dh wanted a girl u will see he will be ecstatic to have a boy..

How does Ramadaan work when you're pregnant, out of interest? My SIL fasted her entire Ramadaan last year - and she gave birth in November. I just think it must be utterly exhausting.

But both my SIL and my MIL use the pill to be able to fast all through Ramadaan and not have to catch up any sdo I guess she must be used to it. AFM, I tried that one year and found it to be SOOO tiring. I gave up. I figure Allah gave us a break during Ramadaan for a reason.

LOL - Mom2b, I thought you weren't going to find out? Alhamdulillah, congrats on the boy! I don't think you should worry.. at the end of the day the baby will be you DH's child, regardless of whether its a girl or a boy. And when the baby comes he'll probably be so excited he won't have time to worry about the sex.

In any case, it's just as well you did the scan because at least now he's got a few months to get used to the idea that it's a boy Instead of hoping for a girl all the way and then getting a surprise when baby is born.

Where is 10 Sept in relation to your MIL's bday? It's possibly Eid, isn't it? What a blessed child
