Try giving her prune juice out of a colourfull sippy cup. That might interest her a bit more. Leandi drinks her juice and water out of a sippy cup (with soft non spill spout) and she loves it. She takes a sip, looks at the cup, then takes another sip, takes another look at the cup, and this can go on for hours. Dh says she checks to see how much there is left in the cup Its very adorable!!

Morning girls,

Had a nice peacefull evening! Lg has been getting up at 5 since she was born so i have made peace with it. Just give her a little milkies and then she gets into the big bed with mommy & daddy and sleeps till 6:30.

Leandi also throws her toys on the floor. Especially her "spoegdoek", i call her a boesman. The best is when i give her a bottle to drink on her own (sometimes in the car or when im watching my soaps) and as soon as its finished she takes it by the teat and slings it. Very cute, but not so cute when your in the shops and she does it.

So I misunderstood the whole breakfast thing, oh well, sh@t happens! Whatever!

Jems thanks, i was also under the impression that breastfed babies don't go everyday, but when we had her at the Dr a while back fro her tummy he said she must go everyday, i'll just keep an eye on her. That article on the mosquito is funny! Yeah he also said she might be a bit dehydrated, well i've tried giving her water juice more milk if she doesn't want it then she won't drink it.

Constipation can be a sign of dehydration; mild dehydration often occurs when introducing your baby to solid foods. Breastfed babies are less likely to be constipated because breast milk has a natural balance of fat and protein which promotes soft stool. The symptoms of constipation include irritability when passing a bowel movement, blood in the stool, and pellets. Contact your doctor. Increasing your baby’s fiber intake can also help. Foods high in fiber include pureed prunes, pears and apricots.

Angel-J & Lollipop - maybe the moon or something is effecting their sleep?

As for the poop thing. Some breastfed babes don't poop everyday. If it is not bothering her and she goes every second I wouldn't worry too much. But for peace of mind maybe take her to doc.
