Jems i also have to put Leandi down when she is completely asleep and even then i have to go back atleast twice to rock her for a minute, put the dummy back and then she sleeps, after that she goes into her "deep sleep".

The day mother puts her in the cot when she is tired (usually starts rubbing her eyes) and then she sleeps. Thats it. Im sure she knows she can manipulate me or maybe she knows she has to sleep for the next 10 hours, i dont blerrie know??

I don't know if I have the energy for that either! I like to put her to bed when she is 95% asleep - it is safe then!! I just can't seem to keep her awake when she drinks her boobie after her bath. And I don't want to change her routine now because she is so set in it. Oh, the joys of motherhood!

Here is another question. Leandi always falls asleep with her dummy in fact she only uses a dummy when she is sleeping. HTH will she fall asleep on her own if the first thing that goes is the dummy?? I thought about putting it on one of those plastic "chains" on her clothes, short enough for her not to hurt herself and then showing her where it is?? I hate those chain thingies, really really dont like them! Maybe i will just use it at night??

Troy has to be completely asleep before you can put him down otherwise he moans and wakes up!

It is confusing Christelle! Most of the books and articles say to put your baby to bed when she is drowsy, not asleep. Actually asked Midwife/sr this morning and i told her that as soon as i put lg in her cot when she is drowsy she thinks its the funniest game she has ever played!!! She laughs and giggles and farts and turns herself sideways in her cot, i dont know if she will ever fall asleep if i just leave her? Apparently she will, i must just leave her but if she starts crying i must tend to her immediately! She says i have such a "easy" baby that in 3 nights she will know how to make herself sleep?? I dont know if im ready for it??
