I'm so confused now. Have been reading all these article about how to get your baby to sleep better etc and all of them say not to nurse your baby to sleep. Now the million dollar question is . . . How do you keep them awake then???

Juanita I actually think that is the only sticker I will stick on my car, just to raise a bit more awareness.

The person that killed our attorney also drove off, but I like to think that karma will get him/her back. Perhaps by making their but itch and their hands turn into fish hooks, or some similar punishment

THINK BIKE!!! as the saying goes. Lolli, dh was very lucky! I hope those people that get away with just driving off have endless sleepless nights filled with worry and nausea (sp) i really dont know how people can do it! How sad is it that we live in such a heartless world??

Juanita, I just feel so horrible for the poor guy as he has rotten luck. He is a heavy drinker and has been in a couple of incidents because of his drinking and the one time he is stone cold sober he gets run over

Good on you for taking that woman to task! You go Girl, dont know if I would have the guts to do that.

A lady ran DH off his bike a couple of years before we met, she skipper a traffic light and ran him over, and left him for dead. When the police got to him he was unconcious and his helmet was cracked and they thought he was dead. They actually threw the blanket over him and when the ambulance got there they saw that he was alive and sped him to hospital. But they didn't want to take off the helmet, they had to take xrays first to make sure his head was in tact.

It is amazing how very few people are aware of motorcyclist on the road (or cyclist for that matter) (think I told you about one of our attorneys that was killed last year while on his cycle). You really have to concentrate and keep them in mind the whole time while driving.

Wish these roadworks would come to an end now. On my way home yesterday i saw a guy on his bike get hit by a car. i could see the guy flying through the air and as he fell on the ground could actually hear the thump. I swear it was like a slow motion movie! And the guy that hit him just chased off!! I was in shock and then thought WTF?? So i chased after him and pulled (pushed) him off the road and told him to go back and own up!! Be a man (it was a lady, in a Porche van thingie). And all of this while i have Leandi in the car, it was actually very scary! You only later realise how things couldve turned out differently but i just couldnt let her get away with it. Sjaim hope he is ok?
