Troy hates when I clean his nose - he always has boogers and I hate boogers! Good idea about giving him the cloth then he can just clean himself.

Christelle - awesome about her new feeding chair. Also tried to put Troy in ours but he looks very silly cos he was tiny in it

Off to the bank - have to go fetch my work AMEX - give me strength!

And I feel like a Woolies roast chicken pie for lunch and I promised myself not to buy anything!

Wow, left early yesterday to go and buy a feeding chair for Zani and this morning I had so much forum action to catch up on! I love reading everything you guys say, makes me feel less lost in this chaotic parenting world.
Bought the Peg Perego Prima Papa Diner Feeding Chair. Looks very nice and Zani loves sitting in it, but you can only see from her nose upwards! So cute! But of course she thinks she is a very big girl now cause she sits so high! Like the princess that she is on her throne!
Also got her a Pigeon sippy cup to start on from today. Now that should be very interesting! First introducing it with a teat like her bottie and then next week I’ll change the teat to a spout. It also has the straw attachment for later on when she is a bit older.
Annelize, thanks very much for the info regarding the donuts. Spoke to Tanya yesterday and she said that it would not be a problem to get it to Stellenbosch and that it should take about a week. I can’t wait to see it. Hope Zani loves it!
Had a good night last night. Zani was in bed by 19h45 and only woke up at 04h00 this morning. Back to bed at 04h10 and when I dropped her at my mom this morning she was still sleeping. What a good girl!
Juanita, I don’t think you should worry to much about the midnight feed. Leandi will drop it on her own when she is ready. I think if you are going to force it now it might create problems that were not there. But what do I know being a first time mom and all.
I also read all those Baby Sense books before Zani were born and during the first couple of weeks and they just made me feel like such a failure. My little girl was nothing like they said in those books and she would stay awake much longer than they said was proper. One day I just threw the book in the bin and I’ve been much happier ever since. I really think that they settle themselves into a routine anyway. Well, that was my 2 cents worth!

Jems nope the Food Nazi has not started Tyler on anything and I think he is getting frustrated now. He keeps grabbing anything we eating and drinking and tries to eat it!! I was actually thinking of getting him some Rice Cereal today...so that he can get use to that so when I am home for that week I can give him lots of stuff!

Will See...I think the Other Food Nazi - Dad will complain!!

Really had a crappy Week! First a family of Rats decided my BMW engine will be a great place to make a nest and chew my cables! Then Portugal lost. And Yesterday Wes dropped his Cell on the side of the road when he was bring my BMW back

Hopefully its the last of everything!

Dont be scared of the food Rocco, just relax and have fun with it. She will also feel if your anxious about it. Hope it turns out much better than you expect!! What are you going to give her?? Maybe stay away from the pumpkin for a while?

Leandi hates when i wipe her face after meal time so now i warm the face cloth and give it to her and tell her "vee af jou mond" she plays with the facecloth and sucks on it but it the end her face is clean so mommy and baby is happy

when this tin is finished i'll buy the no 2.
Riley has 5 - 200ml's a day if she wakes up at night it'll be the 6th but normally she sleeps through.

gonna attempt the food again this weekend.. give me strength please ....
