I had a cold humidifier and hated it, actually seemed to make the room colder with the fan spraying cold water everywhere. Maybe the hot one?

Elsa, lg is in our room and weve got the heater on coz our room is like a fridge, so its definately that thats drying out the air. We will move her back into her room this weekend (after i've washed her carpet) and then hopefully it will be better coz she has underfloor heating in her room. But i dont care, going to buy the humidifier (really not that expensive) and then going to put it right by her cot tonight (just have to make sure i get a silent one). I can still use it in her room also! And yes Lolli, then i can put the Karvol in the humidifier.

What do you guys suggest, cold or hot humidifier?

Shame Juanita, maybe just take the plunge, then you can put the drops in the humidifier?
Paed is right the air is so much drying in JHB, can immediately feel it on my skin when I visit my mommy.

Juanita, do you keep a heater on in LG room? That also drys out the air. So Humidifier might help. Tyler had same issue, Paed told me to just use Sterimar spray, its a Saline Spray.

Great, spoke to pead and now im back to square 1!!

She says definately not to use the meds pharmasist gave me!! BIG NO NO!! And to use only saline drops and humidifier. She says its coz the air is so dry? Im so gatvol, going to return the stupid meds now and get myself a humidifier finish en klaar! Blerrie damit!

I dont know?? Why is it only in the middle of the night?? There is no building dust. Her cupboard is finished and her room is closed. Just have to wash her carpet and then she can move back in. Hopefully it will be better then without a heater?

If its a allergy, why now, and what? Her bedding maybe? Going to phone pead now, hopefully i can speak to her.
