M2b that is good news about Bismarck and the car..sorry to hear about Logan-hope he feels better soon

Christelle, sorry to hear about Z not sleeping through...T woke up 2 times last night as wel. Oh wel it could have been 4 times like last week

Also just wanted to mention that BF is getting me another car. He is selling my car and getting me a new one!

Christelle - all I do is that I refuse to pick him up. I pat him until he falls asleep. I will wake up 100 times a night if I must but will not pick him up. I feed him in his cot and burp him in his cot. He normally just cries (more like a moan) for about 3-5 minutes then sleep. He has been sleeping with us for a long time and now he wants to do it all the time and we are uncomfortable and dont sleep well with him in the bed. It normally takes a few days until they associate themselves with their own room and cot then they are fine. A week later they will try again but just be persistant. I know its not nice but for your own sanity its best. He has slept through for the last 2 nights so its going well. When he cries during the night I get up and feed and stuff in his room. I normally picked him up and put him in our bed but he got use to it and then when I try and feed him, he is not even hungry and falls asleep instantly. So he was only crying to come to us. You just have to let them understand that you are there even though they dont think you are. Its working with me but its not always fun to let him cry a bit.

Oh good to hear she likes that! Troy had about 2 to 3 spoons and then started turning his head away.

I haven't seen any baby gloves but found some toddler mittens. I think it might annoy them? They will try to chew on them etc.

Shame poor boy - must be horrible for him.

M2b - so sorry to hear about Logan. Hope he gets better soon!! How do you do the sleep training with Bismarck?

Angel J - I also put lo on the boob when she wakes up at night. It's the easiest way of getting her to sleep again and I'm all for that!

Morning everyone,

I knew it was too good to be true....Zani did not sleep all the way through last night, but luckily only woke up once at about 1:30. No too bad.

Finally found a cerial that she likes! Cerelace Rice Cerial (the plain one). She was slurping it up like you would not believe. Ate a whole 5 teaspoons worth of cerial! WOW, I have a little piggie! It was so cute though.

Just very glad that it is friday, can't wait to spend some time with my little girl this weekend. Don't get much time for cuddling and playing during the week.

Planning on going shopping as well. Need to get her some nice warm winter clothes. Cape Town is freezing at the moment. My poor baby's hands are like little blocks of ice. Do you think that they make baby gloves?

He will only come out next week. They normally stay for 5 days for the antibiotic to work.
I am just exhasted.
