Pregnancy after D&C

Seems like we just a small group left on here....

Had my baby shower yesterday. Was wonderful with family and friends. Got some good prezzies, and some a bit impractical. No diapers though. Jikes. But not too bad. I bought a stash myself. Will be ok first couple of months.

Went to dischem yesterday to get more diapers. They sent me sms with a special on Huggies gold. Buy 2 bulk packs, get a third free. I ended up throwing all my shopping out of the cart. Hehe, almost! When I turned around, the manager had everything in his arms! When I took diapers, they told me that it HAS to be the same size! Wtf?
1. Your sms did not state that certain terms and conditions apply - only that it's till stocks last.
2. Why in heavens name would I take 3 packs of Nr 2 diapers, if I am only gonna use 1, because duh, babies grow real fast.
3. All the sizes cost exactly the same!!!!!

So, I sent customer care a real friendly, but nasty email complaining, and telling them that they have lost a client! Did I mention I was a total sarcastic biatch? Even started with 'thank you for this wonderful special offer'!
Anyway, don't know if it will bring me anywhere, but at least it made me feel better!

Man its actually quiet over here...

How was everybody elses weekend? We just had people over last night for a potjie had a nice time just to catch up and relax (dh made the potjie)...

O well back to bed for me, dh just left for work so now I can get a few extra zzz before my work starts again...

Well on sat I went to a friend for tea in the morning and ended up staying. Dh joined us and we braaied. Felt lovely and normal. T was a super star. Had such a nice catch up to.

Jay, getting some money tomorrow, and saturday is my (our- me and sil) baby shower. Looking forward. Hope everyone caught the 'I need diapers' comment. Hehe. Sneeky, I know.

Probably time to start packing the bags. Its all starting to become so real. Starting to stress a bit. If I go with a csection, I only have 7/8w left! And I cant rest at all! They are building next door at sil. Said its gonna take 6w to finish. Ja rite. How do I take a nap with sement mixers, banging and loud workers? Ugggh, I need some rest!
