Esmari - bells palsy is fairly common. It is often triggered by stress. Sometimes it can take months to come right so he must be patient, if it takes a little longer, hopefuly not though.

Debbie, he says his face is already feeling better. His eye was most affected. He cant close it properly (he cant blink), so it dries out, and that makes it very red and sore.
Its actually quite funny, he cant smile with his left side. And he cant taste his food!
I guess the steroids is already doing its job. Now he has to start exercises to improve the musles on left side, till he gets full function back. Someone mentioned her doc sayd to chew chewing gum.

Dont think it really affected his exam. He wrote maths on tuesday. The only prob was his eye. He writes management tomorrow. Then he has to wait for results so he can enter for another 3 subjects. (6 month semesters) Cant wait for the day that he finishes. Its going to mean a much higher salary income.

Anyone have any tips on starting a home business? I realy want to start baking. Just dont know where to start. I have a wedding November they asked me to maybe do. Cupcakes.

Anyway, got to get out of bed.

Oh, and the maid was fantastic. She worked up to 5pm! Cleaned, ironed. Even looked at me funny when I ironed dh shirt he wanted to put on, and asked me why I am doing it while she is here. Hehe.

sjoe, ok. The doc says its just bells pulsy. Its caused by a virus dh could have gotten long ago. He gave dh fake tears for the eye, and he has to take steroids for 5 days. He also wants dh to go to fisio. Some damage can be permanent, but it mostly goes away. They arent even sure if the steroids really helps, but theres nothing else they can do to treat it. Most patients get better within 10 days.
Why do I always worry for nothing?

Oh my goodness Esmari, you must be beside yourself. The best thing is definitely to get him checked out just in case. That sounds very scary.
