Hey Everyone !!
Girly - Thanks for all the info. I am still unable to sit/ stand with T in arms. My cut isn't too sore, it is actually above in the tummy I assume where the torn muscle is and then also the drain site is eina. It pulls badly if I do anything unaided. I have had to do so on occassion if T was screaming or no one around etc but then it seems to set me back again. I think the voltaren helps with the swelling but I am not too sure what it does for the pain. Today I decided to take panado as well, so we'll see.
Thanks for all your words of encouragement too. DH is a marvel, a wonder and a rock. Amazing man, I am blessed.
Yes day 4 and T has jaundice and an infected umbilical cord. But now that we are home and in charge we are going to sort it out - already her colour and the infection look better.
Klk - Oh my word! I am like a hobbit and have had my feet in a bucket of ice. It is horrendous. Why? and how long does it last for! The voltaren gives me a runny tummy so I hope I don't do the constipation thing. It is very scary when you can't move, been there too. Grrrrr!
Amazing that I am still loving it all
Ladies I just want to say that although the c sec had complcations, once I had the adrenalin, I loved my birth. My DH talked me through it..... what they were doing and I could feel it without the pain, so in a way I feel like I felt her being born. It was so amazing to see my baby and hear her etc. The only traumatic (very traumatic esp day 2 as Girly said) is the recovery.
Angi - Glad you got the med aid sorted. Always something hey.
Sue - I really hope these 3 months bring you a happy surprise
Debbie - Where are you? Is it hot? that is always a killer.
