Good grief Sue! You must be careful though, that situation could have turned out a lot worse.

Wow Debbie, that is crazy.

Ag no Sue , you dont seem to have good luck with your car , luckily you werent hurt and the biker will be ok , I am always so paranoid about hi jacking dont know if I would have even got out.

Phoned the gynae from Bethlehem today as I was getting anxious about the results of my test , it has been 2 weeks today , only to find out that the results take 4 weeks , thought they were BS'ing me but DH went on line and sent me a whole article about the process and it is true , never mind that the cost is already been approved for payment by the Med aid a whopping R3178 which came out of savings , told DH he had better look the other way when he goes passed the Doc as we arent going to have any money in our med aid this year my medical expenses for Jan are R15200 , and I thought having babies was expensive it seems not having babies is worse.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Hello Everybody!

What a crazy day yesterday, was on my way home from work and sitting at the robot at 14th avenue after coming off the highway. Next thing my car is bumped forward, I look in my rear view mirror and there is nothing behind me, put my hazards on and as I open my door I hear moaning - walked to the back of my car and there is a guy lying half under my bumper!

He was riding his bike down the road, braked, lost control, hit a car in the lane next to me three cars back and then slid across the tarmac to end up stopping against my bumper.

We phoned the ambulance and I am glad to say that he is ok, scratched and bruised and broken bones in his hand but otherwise alright. What a relief!

Bumper needs some work.

This is the sixth accident I have had, 4 of them I have been stopped at a robot or a stop street minding my own business, 1 I wasn't even in the car - it was parked in a warehouse and one a bike rode into the back of me on the highway a few years back - I must have an invisible bumper sticker that says - HIT ME PLEASE!

Liezlb I agree with Klk. Do HPT and if BFN rather go see your gynae! My cycles took 3 months to become regular again but that spotting sounds a bit dodge. Rather be safe and go see your gynea.

Hello all,

Not new to moomie; been a moomie stalker for a very long time.

Joined the May, June and July 2011 mommies to be thread but then I had a MC in November 2010. Gynea could not get a heart beat 8 weeks into my pregnancy, did 2 scans and send me for 2 blood test and finally gave me medicine to have everything come down (or out). This was on 15 November 2010. I bled viciously for more than a week.

A week later the Gynea did a scan and said everything was out and looked fine. In fact she stated that I was 3 days away from ovulating as she saw a follical and measured it.

Gynea said we could try again in 3 months or actually after 3 cycles. I only had light spotting for about 2 days around 20 December 2010 and have since eagerly awaited my period to return. I decided to count the 2 days spotting as a period but it has now been more than 35 days later and still no period.

My question is: is this normal? Should I make an appointment to see my Gynea or be patient for my period to return?

Has anyone had the same or similar experience?

I am quite anxious as I am turning 37 next month so timing is an issue for me...
