Oh and Esmari, I HATE it when ppl dont have themselves checked out!! They always think but stuff like that only happens to other ppl! Nobody is immune against disease! My mom had cancer and I realised that it can affect anyone! So when ppl say its not nescessary I just tell them that I have first hand experence with cancer and it is not pretty!! Especially cos its your family!! Hope you can get through to them!!

Not much going on this side. 2nd last day of leave! Going to send my LG back to my aunt tomorrow so I can spend my last leave day relaxing!! I am so Gatvol of CBeebies!! Haha! She does not really watch tv but as soon as I change the channel she asks "Waar die storie nou?" Haha! Too clever for her own good!

Boring part of the cycle! Only excitement is the BD sessions every 2nd day! LOL!

I don't blame you for getting upset. I left my Pap Smear for three years and ended up with a growth one stage away from cancer having to be removed. Scared the crap out of me. My friends mom in law also hadn't been for about ten years and ended up with cervical cancer. Us humans are definitely not invinsible especially these days with UV the way it is and all the additives in our foods and stress we experience. I am fanatical about my check ups now!

Klk, I have been thinking. I like those 'How to' articles. How to revamp your curtains. Or how to funk up your jeans. I think you get the pic. Hehe. Then I also love stories about people beating the odds!

Am I the youngest on here? I am 26

I am so mad at my mom and brother. My B had to fix their roof yesterday, cause of all the rain it leaked. And he usually workes without a shirt. And he burnt a lot.(he says). So I told him (yelled over text), that he is going to get skin cancer, and that he should wear sunscreen. And he tells me he is to 'hard' to get cancer! No one is flippen protected against the sun!
And my mom. She hasnt been for a papsmear in 14y! She just says lots of women dont go! Ja, until she dies of cervical cancer cause she didnt know she had it! I told her she is selfish! I go, cause I think of my dh and kids who will stay behind if I dont look after myself! She just says that there is no time!

Claire - No prob!! Fridays are horrible in traffic anyway. We will make a plan soon. We will have to make a goodwill gesture and visit the inlaws sometime (Pretoria) Poor Snoopy!! I'm such a softy. Good luck

Klk - It took a little emotional blackmail, but he is a softie and sweetie and is proving he'll already do anything for "his girls" I like a mag with a lot of variety ....... long articles and shorter ones. I also really enjoy human interest stories, I enjoy fiction (short stories) I like product reviews and comparisons, ummm, I also love decor stuff but not the impractical and ridiculously expensive stuff, just a good idea or 2. Hate recipes etc He he he oh I am also an old fart .....35!

Hey JoDon, Esmari, Justine, Debbie, SH and all the others I have missed.

Chatted to a colleague this evening who is a qualified midwife and she said that I have dropped but baba is not in pelvic region so labour is not imminent. So I feel a lot better now. Although I guess my monkey could well come early.
