Lucy, lovely bump. You can really see the difference from previous one. I promise I will share pics as soon as there is something to share!

On the belly button thing. With my ds I had the same. Mine made a little lump that I could 'move' with my finger. And it hurt. But my doc said its the muscles streching ect. Dont know if its the same.....

Claire, sorry about your friend. Heehee. The pups can be strange sometimes.

Afm. Ms hit me hard yesterday. I got up, made kids breakfast, started making dh coffee(I was too naar to have coffee), and before I even put in the water I ran to the bathroom. I actualy threw up. Pharmacy gave me vomisomething. And dh made me marmite toast this morning. So doing better on that today. 6w on the dot today acc to af date.

Lucy, such a cute belly. I love it!! I would stick to the poly cotton. As for the mattress. I have no idea what size Connor's is but all I can tell you that it is quite large and thickish. Hope that that makes sense.

Claire, sorry about your friend, that is terrible.

Hey Friends ....... looks like I am only one doing belly pics here (grrrrr) anyway here is my 22 week belly.


Claire - So sorry about your friend, that is horrible especially just before christmas. Hope she finds something new soon. A lot of people give notice in january (after they have received bonuses!!) so she should get something for feb.
It is frustrating waiting for money. In dec we are getting paid on 10th and I am getting my 13th cheque so I have decided to get what I need now on plastic and avoid the rush and panic of december. I'll just put it straight into the card when I get paid. Although I have not spent that much .....yet!! Hee hee

To the bof's!! I have a few questions that I would love your input on (if I may):
The cot I have been given is 116cm x 56cmm and the mattresses you buy are 117cm x 55cm. Can I use this or is it dangerous?

Mom is making linen ...... what do you need in terms of sheets etc and can we use percale or is it best to stick to polycotton?

Last one - I often have a lot of pain on the right of my belly button. Exactly where I had my ovidrel shot. Is this normal for pregnancy or could it be due to the jab? Sometimes I can't even touch my belly button it is so eina!

Howdy Ladies

Hope you all well - not much to say just had a cr@p few days - friend got retrenched on friday, lawyers have done things a bit backwards so still awaiting transfer on our purchase - grrr!!! we took pup to vaccinate and see his mommy yesterday and the little thing humped his sisters, brother and mom - ha ha ha but he had so much fun.

Lucy - wow she sounds like a busy busy girl! ordered an airplane light (80 bucks only) and done a list, but need to wait for house money and bonus to see what I can spend on nursery - at least my salary is covered for maternity leave hopefully mid Dec I can get more stuck in. how are you otherwise?

JoDon - thx for the pm so glad af is less painful - very good sign. and I hope the family day was super fun.

Girly - give yourself time on losing weight - you need to readjust, the pains are gone but thx I will carry on - oohhh I love new kitchens - not a waste at all.

Klk - hello hope all is good your side... I agree with Lucy - I hope I look that good after LB is born.

Hey Friends!

I had a work function last night and I only got home just before 1am. It has wiped me out as I was up before 7am for the plasterers. I have got a lot of organising and sorting out done today, so I feel good. Having a braai with DH now and if I have some energy later I want to cut out Tessa's curtains. Little Tessy has been going great guns ALL day today. My belly has popped out! I think I look preggy now. Will take a pic tomorrrow (22 wks!) and post.

JoDon - I hope Chloe had a ball, I am sure she didn't want to leave the water slide Think I'd make the same choice over a nap!!

Girly - I am sure not increasing feeds in time is very common and something most of us endured as babies ourselves and are none the wiser. But instinct told you something was off and you got help and now you have fixed it - That is what is important!! You are a fantastic Mom Your kitchen sounds so exciting, please post pics for us.

Klk I'm only online in the evenings so I'll probably miss it!

At the family day and really enjoying it! Chloe busy having a nap so a bit of peace for me! Struggled to get her off the water slide to have a nap but tiredness won in the end! Hehe!

Had no internet this morning, flippen hectic storm last night but seems all is restored. Was going to attempt to reply on my BB but hell the screen is way too small
