Pregnancy after D&C

OK I am practising all sorts of breathing techniques!!
The plan for today was that I was to sms gynae at 8am and remind him about today. He was going to then get back to me with a time for me to go in for the scan etc.
WELL I sms'd at 8am and I am STILL waiting for a response.
I can't do anything ..... just checking my phone every 5 min. Grrrr what a waste of time. Wondering if I should sms him again or just wait? Oh my sms was delivered!!

Girly - I am so glad Kaylee got so spoilt at your baby shower. It sounds like she will be a very well dressed LG Enjoy packing and getting organised today. These are all such special times.

I had my baby shower yesterday. It was lovely and so many gifts, my gosh!
My SIL planned everything & I didnt even know. I thought it was MIL. No words could show her the thanks I have! Today MIL is coming around and we're going to sort through everything and pack it right. Kaylee has SO MANY clothes!

Yet another weekend almost over! One week closer to our holiday. And....... Wait for it........ 1.1kg closer to my weight loss goal! 6.3kg(ideal weight calculator) to go or 4.3kg (personal). And I still have 8 weeks to go! Jay!

Girly, your gynae sounds awesome. He seems to really have your best interests at heart. It would be so nice to book you off a week early. I hope works gets organised soon so that you can stop having that worry.
It is scary but also exciting..... you're about to meet Kaylee!

I have thankfully been very busy! Hectic day at work yesterday and then today I have been involved in a "jail and bail" to raise money for CANSA. Super tired now so hopefully I'll sleep tonight and then it is D Day! Ai kurumba!

Wow that's a looong natural birth! I dont know if I could go at it that long without relief.

Re my birth preferences - I would really like to give natural a try. But I know that if she's not ready for it there's nothing I can do. Gynae mentioned yesterday that if she hasnt turned by my 37w scan, we'd book for 38w. I asked him if we could leave it till 39 weeks. He says the reason they do 38 is cos of chances of me going into labour after then, but he didnt say No. DH will support me provided its not endangering my health.
I still have a few weeks, and she still has enough fluid around so hopefully she'll turn in the next few.
Says often there's a reason they wont turn which they can only tell once baba is born - such as a short umbilical cord or something that would cause problems if she did. And so the gynae's prefer not to try turn them these days.

What did dawn on me though is that 38w is only 4.5 weeks from now! I am nearly done with prep, but there's a fair amount to still get done at work, and I also want some time to myself before which, if I go off on 1st Aug would only give me 1 week to myself, maybe 2!!

I will be talking to my boss on Monday about work. I am not getting a substitute cos one of our other offices will be covering me. But they have new staff who havent done my job. I realised I cant just stop my job one day and expect them to know everything. So was talking to our Business manager as I know he is behind on some projects. Thinking I'll carry on normal work next week, but starting the following week let the other office handle my work, while I assist them, and I can help with these projects so that there's nothing 'outstanding' of my job the day I go off. Doctor also suggested he would book me off for a week if I needed, which really only gives me 2 more weeks at work and a lot to get done! It's getting scary ladies!

Chan - Thanks !! Oh dear about the old machine. I also don't like it cos we don't get to see too!! What does your gut say your having?

Lucy it's totally normal to be nervous! Just try and stay calm because stressing isn't very good for TTC! Hopefully in 2 weeks we'll be hearing about your BFP!!!! Can't wait!

Yip back to the old machine on 22 June!! 12 days until we see little bean again! Hopefully my gynae will be able to confirm the sex - but on that machine I highly doubt it. If we can't see anything i'll book a 4D scan for 18 weeks because I can't wait any longer!!

I had natural birth with Kyra. Went in Fri morning 1am and had her Sat night at 8pm! Only had an epidural at 5:30 on the sat evening and could kick myself for going through that pain! That is the best invention ever! I'll have one as soon as I reach 4cm this time around! Hopefully i'll be able to do natural again!
