Pregnancy after D&C

Don't worry. Everything happens for a reason and ultimately the result of holding your precious bundle in your arms and that your LO is healthy is actually what counts, not whether he/she was born naturally or by c-section.

I felt like a failure having to have an emergency C-sect with Mia, and done in by not experiencing natural birth. With Hannah I felt much better although I am also still sad about the same things, no water breaking, intense labour pains and just the whole natural birth process.

It's all over so quickly and they grow up so quickly, so just relish every moment with your LO. The smells, sights, sounds.... the tears (yours and your LO's!)

Sal i'm sure everything will be fine. I'd also be so upset if I had to have a caeser but in the end it all comes down to your baby's safety. I got such goosebumps now thinking that today's the day your meet your little bundle of joy! Please keep us posted on how you are and what's happening

Girly I hope you feel better soon. It's horrible being sick and not being able to take anything. Just try and rest as much as you can.

AFM another day closer to my scan. SO scared today for some reason. Not sure why. Tonight DH and I are going out for a romantic dinner and tomorrow is Kyra's birthday party so at least the weekend should go quickly for us.

Thanks sue ... he also said my fluid is on the higher side and so is the blood sugar level ...also the estimated baby wght suggests tht size wud be large ... was 3.3 kg +/- 210 gm at 37.4 weeks . But said we will still try for normal as far as possible ... Sal any news ? thinking of you and DH holding ur long awaited bundle of joy ... oh & u have the gender surprise to add to the fun & suspense!!

Sal I think I too am gonna end up like u .. went to the gynae yesterday ( 38.1week) and baby's head is not engaged ... baby is also slightly big so he said that if he doesn't find the baby's head engaged in the next one week we might have to look at C sec as an option .. coz it could mean that the baby's head is too big to be engaged and labour will be long drawn and painful & baby might go in distress

Sal - Shame friend! Wow the day is finally here! I remember reading all the old Pampers posts before I joined and wishing and willing and hoping that you would get your BFP and now Poof its time for LO to arrive. I am praying for you friend and for LO and DH that all goes well! Good Luck! Big Hug!

Lucy - I think a break will be really good for you - to get away and also to stop temping for a while.

Klk - Your Brother in Law - you have my Sympathy! Only joking! Miss the crazy Frenchman terribly in our division, never a dull moment - we used to have stress ball wars everyday!

Esmari - shame friend I started taking a product called Fertilaid which I found at Dischem - it is natural and apparantly sorts out your hormones and regulates your cycle. I have had so much more energy since I started taking it. Maybe you could try and find it where you are.


Chan - hang in there friend one day closer to scan.

AFM - got home and everything was put away, the dishwasher was unpacked and DH immediately looked at my brakes and apologised for not taping my show so I think it worked.

Ladies, the Dr says that I have high blood pressure, the baby is still facing the wrong way, the head is to big to engage in my pelvis (he didnt even bother doing an internal as he could feel it) and basically he is 100% I need to have a c-section this afternoon. Come home and am now waiting to hear an exact time. Ladies, I'm pooping myself, so scared for some reason as well as a bit dissapointed that I wont feel what its like to have my waters break or even a labour pain but if its going to help my LO then so be it.
