Our grey cat (named Guchi btw) doesnt like when I cry or when we fight.
If we have a bad fight he will bite and scratch me trying to get me to stop.
Thankfully that doesnt happen too often.
But yea when I'm really sad like last year with my MC, he would always lie close by and try comfort me.

I love my babies! Wish we could have a dog too, but wouldnt be fair on it, we wouldnt walk it or love it as much as dogs need. And scared it will dig up my irrigation system cos there isnt a lot of back yard space.

Sue - Good! I am glad. It is amazing how they know. My kitty that was killed used to be super protective of me and attack anybody/thing that threatened me, once even a huge dalmation dog!! Was a real david and Goliath situation. Love animals!!
