How early a blood test will be positive depends on when implantation happened.
I had my first bfp on 9dpo so it is possible, but remember it could be very low still, and could also be negative but because its too early, since you spotted yesterday it could be either or.
Claire - doppler - earliest is 12 weeks, but more like 14 to hear it properly.
Baby is still very small, and uteris isnt very big either.
You have to apply the gel generously to the are just above your pelvic bone, and point the doppler around this area. Usually at this time it will be more or less in the middle, and baby's heartbeat will sound like a galloping horse, not to be confused with your heartbeat which you'll also hear down there and much slower.
I found when I can hear swooshing (ie bloodflow) then i'm getting closer.
But just remember, before like 16 weeks its still very soft and can take a good 5 minutes just to find, and if you move it away just a centimetre it could be gone again.
So dont stress, try it a few times a week, and then try again next week if you dont come right.
Chan how's the spotting?
Maybe go for bloods now and again in 4 days time for some peace of mind. Remember the count slows down now too.
Big hugs to all.
