Saw baba very happy about that, we are going again in 2 weeks time to see gynae.

Sue - My DH is also a musician (how I met him!!) Has a degree and sings really well. He has been out of it for a while but he is thinking of going back to it!!

Girly i'll probably be fine for the next week or two if I have no spotting but after that i'll probably be a nervous wreck. Surely they could have fitted me in just to make sure there was a sac and it's in the right place around 6 weeks? I'm going to phone again in the morning and see if I can sort something out!

I know EXACTLY where you're coming from.
That first scan, and even the 8w and 10w scan were so nerve wracking for me, thats why doc saw me every 2 weeks initially.
I remember being 7weeks, on holiday and spotting.
I'd wake up and convince myself that come the scan there'd be nothing there. It was really tough. And no one anyone said would make me feel better. The only thing that works is prayer, reminding yourself that its out of your hands, and have faith in this miracle that will be your LO one day soon.

Girly no we haven't told Kyra yet. Thought we'd wait for the first scan just to make sure everything is fine.

I get what you're saying about the scan at 8 weeks though. I'm also really excited to see something than just a dot so we'll have to wait it out!! The only thing i'm so nervous about it waiting another 4 weeks and to get to the scan and not find a heartbeat. But I need to stop all the negative thinking now and try and be positive because this is the best start we've ever had!!

BTW I went for a scan at 6w and doc couldnt see anything, as baby was hiding right along my wall, only saw the yolk sac and placenta. He was happy but I stressed big time for the next 2 weeks! 8 week scan was stunning, little arms and legs and baby moving about

Klk end of the year's around the corner for you to start trying again.

Re sex - DH seems to have no problem with it, if only I was in the mood more often. But we did manage this weekend and it was a lot more sensual than I remember! Sometimes its like exercise, not necessary wanting to, but once youre there its pretty good

Ok back to work now.

Yes i'm on cloud 9!! Still nervous as hell that something could go wrong but looks like we're off to a good start at least! Just wish I could have seen doc around 6 weeks just to make sure there's a heartbeat.
