Kaytee, Yandi is on solids, we're giving her cream of maize and rice & maize cereals.

I used to give her water with gripe water or brown sugar and she didn't like it very much but her nanny tells me that she gives her plain water. And she drinks that fine.

Yep I agree we should both work on restoring it, but he should work more...and believe me he will WORK...

Hope u all doing well.

Shiya has grown up so much, they've bn plaiting her at home, she's got very long hair, ubopha amaphondo ayi2, she looks very cute with the 2 toofies though she always hides them.

On the flight, there was a white gentleman who insisted on carrying her, hee, my baby was so inlove with him, she did not sleeep a wink for 1 and half hour.

Gogo did not pierce her, there were no earings at the pharmacies.

@Blackie, hugs hun, you should both work on restoring the trust, although it will never b restored 100%.

Yep she does get constipation a lot, even after all the water she drinks...

It's probably not even linked to how she prepares it...but speak to her just to be rest assured.

Oh, you started solids at 3months as well?? I did but only giving her purity cream of maize, will top it up once she gets to 6months.

Does she constipate a lot? This is the 1st time B does this so I'm not sure of what it means... I know the nanny is pro-cream of maize, not sure how she prepares it and if its soft enough?? Eish the downside of having someone look after your LO...

What do I do?? Do I ask her how she prepares the porridge? The formula? How many times etc??? without sounding bad???

Hey Kaytee...I saw a thread and moomies give their LO oats porridge and nutrifix(most sayy they started @ 7 months and these are whites)...will try those too as Amahle doesnt like cereals(purity,nestum &cerelac)

@Kaytee...ja ne constipation is a problem hey and I give Amahle a little water coz I mean she eats now, though we know they suppose to eat from 6 months, but coz she's eating already why not.

I only started giving her water after she turned 3 months and started on solids. She eats purity, cereals and cream of maize(her favourite). The other time I cooked butternut and sqaush and put them on a blender which she loved...

Lately uyaghala so she's been having a little from mu plate, she's had spagetti and macaroni which she loves, she can even chew on them
