Thanks ladies

ELamsmom_ too precious I tell you. We think they dont see us doing these things but they do. Eish

Wildcat- Who is MJ's Pead? and how much is he charging?

Nels- I do not think it's fair that they should expect that from you. They do not know your financial situation (unless mom told them) and therefore should not expect such. Were you present at the meeting when they came to these decisions?
If not, I suggest you buy what you can. Theres not point in putting pressure on yourself to do what you can given the circumstances of your relationship with them

If it were me, I would buy oats, 2kg Ace for soft porridge. 200 teabags, 1kg tin of coffee and nespray for tea in the morning and soft porridge. lol.

Then I would buy something like Cake flour for baking purposes. Tehy cannot come back and accuse me of not contributing.

@NelsN: Sorry sisi, I can't help on this one. I have luckily never had to be part of the planning for a funeral (yet). But from what I know, we (Xhosa) usually have lots of steamed/baked bread (dumplings as Joburgers would call them) then make the insides (mogodu I think u call it) from the sheep which were slaughtered for the funeral lunch.and ofcourse the tea! Very simple. Then the lunch ke is a full lunch... don't know any other way.

Helo moms!

Answ: Dh did his circumcision last year and it took so long to heal so decided to snip Amara in Jan this year and within 3 weeks it was fine. We did cause dh is Xhosa more than Zulu and they do it but we preferred doing it the hospital route.

Q: I need some advice or experiences from u ladies ( need to vent also) . My grandfather ( actually grans brother) past away so his funeral will be on saturday.
Now. The family uncles , aunts got together and decided who will buy what etc. Now my mother decides to pass the buck to me ( we are really close , started speaking to each other about 3+ mths ago after 3+years of silence). And my uncle ( deceased son who is close to me) asked me to help where I can which I told him I will. My issue , on the list (mind you they didn't take out funeral cover not sure Y) is cheese, eggs, polony etc for breakfast! My confusion or understanding is when I was growing up I don't remember having eggs and cheese and bacon etc at a funeral in the morning , you made tea and bread maybe porridge and started cooking early in the morning for people etc. Another thing I'm being compared to my aunt not sister aunt who will buy imbuzi (goat) thus I must buy more than yena so as to show off! *confused* dh is pissed as my family ignored me for years and all of a sudden I must cough up cash and buy for the whole family and tom, dick and harry.

Amara born 2 December 2009 Weight 3.30
Kwakhanya born 1 April 2015

Hey i thought i saw Kaytee,i bet she just could not keep up,so she left  ,thank you ladies, feeling a little beta, but i told myself, wont let watever keep my spirits down, party planning and hearing Mj's voice always does the trick.GML i am having Mj circumcised soon, waiting for a date from his paed, doing it via him,i think it's best he does it now,the pain wont be too much, and he will heal fast,bd had it done while old,and says the pain is uncof, and wishes he had done it at a younger stage, and app other man look at you,in the shower and if ur not circum, then you become a joke.

So ya,i just hope bcoz it's winter it will heal faster, and he wears a nappy,so atlest that will protect him from any discomfort an underwear might have   :(
