ohhh Stumza and GML, you are reminding me of when my LG was about 5 months!!! Babies are soooo exciting! Each new month comes with new developments and milestones and all are soooo exciting. But ppl without kids could never understand how you get SOOOO excited when your baby learns to sit-up, roll over, wave bye-bye, crawl, walk, smile...it seems so insignificant but to us, it is SO exciting and SO special!!!

Hi ladies

Can't comment on the snipping cos I don't have a LB yet but hubby is Xhosa(well...he's Pedi but grew up as a Xhosa) so got snipped at about 18. I'm guessing our LB (if we have one) will follow suit & go to the bushes to get snipped at about 18.

About babies loving the phone...I think cos her dad is ALWAYS on the phone, Elam looooves the phone & knows to put it to her ear when you say "hello" she does it with ANYTHING & everything, even if just her hand. if you say "hello sisi" she picks up the "phone." Even if u have just come from work & are just greeting her, she puts her hand to her ear. LOL  Here's a pic of her with my camera...ok, can't find that one. Here's one with daddy's phone...

Vamo- I hear you.

Both hubby and BIL had it done when they were older. And they both say they would have preferred to have their mom do it when they were younger.

I said since I dont have a penis I'm in no position to give an opinion on the matter expect from a womans preference perspective. So I let my hubby decide and he said to have him snipped

GML... I did not snip my Lwandle and we are leaving it up to him unless a medical reason arise then it will be inevitable.

It will be his personal choice when he is older. I know the Health Dept has been campaigning that we should consider it for our boy children. But I am not doing it, his daddy did it while he was a grown man, so will he.
