Hello Ladies

I'm Gugu Msimang Lepere (GML) and I'm a MOOMIEHOLIC :P

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm a new mom to Lesego (5months old) and a wife to hubby Tebogo.

We live in Weltevreden Park I'm originally from the VAAL. We found out we were expecting 2 weeks before our white wedding (APRIL 2010). Had a traditional wedding December 09.

Lesego was born on the 10 December 2010 via Natural birth with epidural.

We recently celebrated our 1year wedding anniversary in April and I made it a point that we watch our wedding DVD every year on our anniversary. Lets hope hubby keeps to this agreement. :)

I talk about my child everytime. If people get annoyed then they shouln't ask me how he is doing. In fact they shouldn't ask how I'm doing either because how I'm doing is very much dependent on whether Lesego is sleeping, teething, grumpy etc or not :P

Thanks ladies.

Thanks to Vamo for reminding us of of that special day. DH and I spent last night looking at our photo's. we haven't looked at them in months!!!

GML, come join! Some of us are not from Soweto but wanted to join abo-darkie moms cos as you said, it's nice to see other ppl who go through the same stuff you do & u can relate to so much! East rand, West rand, North, South...it's all the same

Vamo, to be honest, I couldn't pick out which one is your mom. You said she is the one in front of you, but surely she can't look SO young!!!! Congrats to her. Hope I look like that at that age!

Hello Ladies

I dont know if any of you have seen me lurking around this thread even though I dont reply. I'm not a Soweto lady but I am a West Rand lady. I love reading your comments. I laugh almost everytime I read.

Thank you ladies for voting for me. I appreciate it.

It's always nice to read what other "black" Ladies go through, it's like we go through the same things.

Thanks again. ;)
