Sorry I dont come on much....cant be bothered to sit at the computer anymore and not easy to reply from my phone.

I saw the gynae about the ?prolapsed bladder. She says it looks like a giant passed through my cervix as its very stretched! lol. well its not a problem.
hopefully will go back to normal. my uterus is a bit lower than normal but also not a problem so thats that!

Matt is doing fine. Going to sleep at 8:30pm, wakes around 4am, 5 minute feed, back to sleep then wakes between 7-8am.
of course there are days it doesnt go like that at all. but we're getting there!

Have been trying to feed solids for 4 weeks and he hates it. Have tried rice cereal, flavoured rice cereal, avo, banana and sweet potato.
the banana he truly hates. the avo is so so. and the sweet potato has been the best so far. But he is still not very happy. as soon as he sees the spoon he seals his lips tightly and lowers his head. I gave him pieces of banana and avo to feed himself and still not interested.

otherwise not much news. was my birthday yesterday. got a video camera

Matt's 6 month check up is next week. I think he weighs around 7.6kg and around 67cm tall. cant wait to get the confirmed measurements!

Misty - Our LO's main diet is milk until 1 year. So do not stress about starting solids at 7 months. I am only starting Tessa later this week at 6 months and that only on rice cereal, she'll only get veggies once she is 7 months. What I plan to do when starting the solids is feed milk first and then offer the solids once she is full. I feel for me that will take the stress of her not eating enough out and then lessen the chance of giving her junk food. My opinion anyway.

Tazzy - Well done on the sleep training. That is a big improvement. Hope you start feeling a little more rested. Tessa is definitely more independant but also more aware when I leave the room, grrrr! I love how dexterous her little hands are getting and she claps now when we do and she also does this thing .....the is a french aby song a la belle, that we rotate our hands and fingers to that she also does when we sing it. Too cute!! I am still doing 4 breast and 2 formula feeds a day. I think she is ready to drop another feed and I am planning on dropping a formula feed this weekend.

I am an android phone user, so can't do the BBM thing but I do Whatsapp if anyone else does??!!

Cath - William is sooooo cute and happy, the pics show it!! Well done Mama

Afm - Had T's 6 month check and weigh in at the midwife yesterday and madam grew 4cm in the last month and is 8,1kg. The midwife also gave me such a cool compliment (if I may share?!!) she said that she can see that T is a very well looked after baba. Made my day!!! Thought it was a really nice thing to say.

AFM - I had an even better night with Amelia last night. I woke up smiling I was so happy.
She had a bath at 6, bottle and put in her cot awake. She went off to sleep by herself.
Started moaning a bit at 1am, so I put her dummy in and turn her onto her side. She then slept til 330!!! (First time EVER)
I bf her until she started getting drowsy but not asleep, and put her back in cot. She slept til 6am.
Its a break thru!!!

Meags happy happy birthday!! hope it was very very special!

all well here little one is seven months old in 2 days time!!! he is chatting up a storm and distinctly said DA-DA on Sat night! not to anyone in particular lol but it was definitely his first 'word' so far! He is a happy smiley lovely little angel!
