How is little R doing?

Lucy - great that Tessa is sitting now. I find that now that Amelia is sitting she keeps herself occupied. How is work? Are you still managing to breasfeed in morning and night?

Started some sleeping training and no bf during the night with Amelia and it surprisingly went quite well for the first night. She lasted til about 430 before I fed her. But she did perform quite a bit!

Misty em only ate solids at 1 year. So dont stress too much about not introducing solids yet.

Betty - dont stress about solids...5 months is fine..Ryan will be 5 months in a week and I am still confused about solids (see below). Ya us working moms have it hard when it comes to spending time with the little ones. I luckily get home about 2.30 and spend all that time until bedtime (around 7pm) with Ryan

AFM...we saw the plastic surgen on Tuesday for Ryans soft pallet. His op has been booked for the 17 Nov. I wish it was sooner...just want it out the way! I am so made as the special teats he needs for his bottle cost like R350 fro 3 and they break OFTEN! basically buying new ones each month. At least after the op he can use a normal bottle. Now here is my dilemma....the doc said that afetr his op he will not be able to eat solids fro about a week so has suggested that I do not introduce solids until after the op. He said that if Ryan gets used to his solids then he will miss them for that week after the op. The prob that I have is that he will be 7 months a week after the op. Surley that is too late to introduce solids? I was thinking to start before (as in soon). he currently has rice cereal, but not every day and the days he does not have he does not seem any different. Ryan will have stiches in his mouth and that is why the doctor said no solids. Shame and the doc also said not objects(eg fingers. toys) into mouth for a week after op...so joy poor little guy will be in "boxing gloves". So sure it is going to be a very unsettled week anyway.

Faw congrats !

Sorry I have been a bit scarce also finding moomie so slow and don't have loads of time that it takes. Although Tessa has been sleeping through for ages I think the months of not quite enough sleep have caught up and I am battling with fatigue, grr!
Tessa can now sit on her own for ages and only falls if she loses concentration. She sat for about 20 min without falls the other day. She still hates rolling and hasn't done so in weeks! Little lazy bump !
