Morning preggie fairies and our new mom;

CathM-That is the perfect weight,I always struggle to see scans but either way glad that all is well with Will.

Betty-My LG will also be 3 this year and I think it is a perfect ae gap and well also didn't buy anything for Tshami as I still have stuff for her sister.

Kimika-I take it that all is well as I don't see your AFM.

Karin-Thanks for the info on Pigeon I think it is a nice brand.I am however using Avent brush and since it is still brand new I do not think I will change.

Lucy-I know I am very scared of c-sec and by the looks of things not going that route yet it is good to give us info cause no one knows what will happen on thee day.

Meags-Hope you are enjoying your flight.

AFM-I think MS is back fulltime cause I feel drousy when I take the bus home and always feeling irritated,bloated,hurtburn etc...Why me,I was enjoying being energetic but now stiff muscles,fatigue mmmm.Exciting news on my side is that all my LG's baby stuff are here coming from PLK as she was raised by my mom until I took over last year so I have been sorting the stuff for Tshami and walla won't need to buy more.Also picked up the hospital clothes for her will just have to wash them then pack them away.If ever I will have a baby shower it will come in handy,just don't know for what.My LG has started potty training and coming okay but the time Tshami arrives she will be fully potty trained How I love being a mom

Those lips.. just wanna kissy kissy Still cant believe that your baba is here already.. you get so much more playtime!!! How was the c-sec?? Would be great to hear your opinion on it as I think we are equally scared of the whole thing!

Mistymom, oo I couldnt live without my tumble drier! I always hang stuff out to almost dry and pop it in the tumble drier just to finish off, it makes the clothes soft and snuggly I never dry stuff in there all the way though cause it makes it tend to go gray. Yum @ chrispy chicken skin hehe

KarinM, how cute that your little girl was able to hear that loud soud inside your tum I saw some nice button down pj's at woolies a while ago.. not sure if they will still have it? I also noticed all the shops have their winter goods in now. Was thinking the other day that if we still wanted some summer goods for babas then we better buy now before there is nothing left! Crazy.. Oh and Im so with you on the pigeon bottle brush! Only that mine seems to break off at that wire bit.. but still love it. Ive got a Nuk one at the moment and its just irritating bacause the back bit keeps coming off!

Lucy, home made quiche yum! So tell me, if you are in jhb is there no way you can cut off a hour or so for coffee? Thats a great tip on the enema bit! pls give us the name.. I think if I feel the labor coming on Ill do that while Im still home.. just to make sure Trust me, the constipation after birth is a KILLER!! I think its most likely to be from all the pain meds and things you get.. and its ever worse if you had a bit of a tear with delivery (normal) shoo! Another reason for you to be happy with your c-sec choice

Betty, I also think the gap between your kiddies are going to be so perfect Good luck on having the vbac.. how does your gynae feel about it?

Schatsie, I always say that preggie moms have so much stuff going on and there is always something that will worry you! But Im sure you will be ok for the c-sec!! Labour normally takes way longer than it takes to prep you for a c-sec.. they do that chop-chop! LOL at the guava craving! Maybe rather have fresh guavas? The juice is normally worse than the fresh ones. Or check what vitamins/minerals you find in guavas.. maybe its your body craving for something it needs?

Claire, well done to hubby for getting you that bola! Im doing ok.. still missing him a lot some days. The vet came around the other day to do all the dog's yearly innoculations and she was asking how he was after he had that bad food allergie a while ago.. I could barely answer her and my mom had to tell her But its better now.. Will see to get a new male in about 6 or so months.. just want to have my baba first! And Im off to the vet again this morning. My girl staffie had a fight with my moms boerboel yesterday and now seem to have hurt her leg badly. There is a small hole in the skin so dont know if its the shoulder muscle or what. But she cant stand on the leg and screams like a pig being murdered when she lies down or stands up I woke up at 5 this morning with her screaming .. poor thing.. and its all swollen. Just hope its only the muscle and not fractured or something!

Meags, sorry little guy didnt show his face.. little rascal! Hope your flight goes ok.. Cant wait to hear from you on how it is on that side and how the house is etc etc!! How exciting!! xxx

Cath, I was checking on that baby weight site last night and saw our babas should be aprox 2.3kg now. Mine as been on the average from the start so that should be more or less the same. Cant believe I only have a scan in 1 1/2 wks time!! Feels like forever again!! I think its because I didnt see my gynae at the last appointment..

Woke up so early today, so pleased it is Friday and the weekend is here.

Misty - My LB, Matthew will be 3 in March. I think a nice age gap between him and the new baba.

I had an. Unscheduled c section with him, after being in labour for 14 hours. I would like to try for a Vbac. But not getting my hopes up too much.

You ladies are far more organized than me. I have bought nothing for this baby and am starting to feel like I may be neglecting her. The thing is that I probably don't need much, having already had a baby.

Karin - thanks for the info re the pigeon bottle brush, I had the avent one, and always felt that the bristles were too soft. Will definitely try the pigeon one this time.

Claire - I love my mexican bola! Grrrrrrr the blinking heat is following me But thanks for the heads up, at least I know what to pack

Here is another little bit of info for c/s mommies to be ...... give yourself an enema the night before you go in for your c/s. At least you don't need to go to soon after your op! I'll get the name of the stuff to use, midwife at antenatal told me to do that!

Scan went fine - William now 2.3 kilos at 34 weeks he had his knee almost in his mouth what a cutie!

So thrilled to see Joli's progress with little Callum

Oh - for the First time Mommies... Just wanted to give you some advice on buying a bottle brush if you haven't already. Remebered this morning when I was sorting my stuff.
The Pigeon bottle brush is really simply THE best I have ever used. It has a rotary handle so you just push it into the bottle and swish your writst around to clean quickly and efficiently! Absolutely love it. Just a hint for those who might want to give it a try.
I still use my old one for long thin glasses etc that is hard to reach.
