I agree EmsMom. i was pooping myself before the wax. And during the wax it was hardly sore. Definitely going every 3-4 weeks from now on.

Enjoy the rest of your pamper day!

Kimika thanks for the cookies - they are DELICIOUS. glad I took 4 bags :p

Well I just had my wax, and really I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. Yes it stings but its not sore. I think the fear of it makes it worse in our heads than it really is... So I'mm all "clean" down there anf will go every 3 weeks from now on :)

Now just waiting for my full body massage!! And then my pedi :) yay life

Howdy ladies! well its finally week-end, has seemed like a hecticly looonnng week... or was that just me?

Kimika, I hope you manage to relax yourself with the hypnobirthing - do you have the CD as well? Lots and lots of practice is the key. As if you're doing your pelvic floor exercises everyday (or cheat like I do and use those balls) then you should not have any pee oopsies. :)
Enjoy the cookie baking!

Misty, I know its shocking to think private nurses get less - I was very surprised when i learned, but when a private nurse moves to a public hospital they actually say they are going on holiday, cause of it.
Have you had your baby shower yet? Or still having one? You'll get tons of baby clothing there I promise :)
And dont worry I'll still have internet once baby is born so I wont leave you alone, and we reall must meet up when you are on leave.
Misty too funny that you bail on the wax, I really hope I dont do the same tomorrow. And WOW on the spending money!

I really cannot wait for tomorrow, my back has been so sore. We have such a busy day, I'll have my 3 hour pamper session :) And then need to get the last things for Em for school, grocery shopping, taking her for a haircut and out to play.
Had another hypno class last night and I'm so enjoying them. Really looking forward to the birth :)

Meags I really hope you get to settle soon, the up and down of emotions must be hectic.

Lucy the pead will take photos of the birth for you, we got lovely ones of Em's birth. Not pro of course but you'll still get those pics. We wont be doing the stem cells, its just far too much and I think they really prey on the fear of parents. Our genetic history is pretty good, so we'll just put it in Gods hands.

Jess, what a lovely bump! how you doing otherwise?

Anje those scan pics are stunning! what a little angel.

Schatsie, yay on seeing baba move! Its so lovely watching a "alien" tummy :) I honestly just got a bigger size of my normal cotten g-strings - you can also get maternity ones. I cannot wear full panties, and will only do so after birth - but got sexy low cut hotpants style ones for then :)

tazzy, I hope that you're pain eases and your Dr can help out there.

Cath, I'm sure you'll enjoy your scan next week! And hope baby's foot moves from your ribs soon :)

Joli, cool and scary that they will be photograping the birth - maybe you should do hypnobirthing to ensure you're not a screaming mess ;) Will they still do the photos if you go for a c-section? And you get the long stay wont bloody come off lipstick.. (Em got on her face and I had to SCRUB to get it off)

Oh and about the stem cells.. if you have the money I would def do it, even more so if you are planning on having kids later on again. But then make sure its a good company.. not sure on the cheaper ones.. maybe ask around at the labor ward when you around there again and ask them.. I think they will know since they have to keep the cord for them to bank.

Lucy, pls will you let us know when you are going to order, and then Joli and I can also order along with yours?? Will pay the money for bra and postage to Jhb into your account a few days before you place the order??? AG Please man!! :P What size are you taking?

And about the sleep.. it really is true that its your body's way of getting used to waking up at night. When preggie with my first boy I slept like a log during pregnancy and then could hardly cope with having to wake up! This time around Im already used to waking up 2 or maybe 3 times a night for a sippy of milk and a cuddle ;)

Mistymom, wow you lucky girl!! Thats a lot of shopping :) Enjoy spending every bit

Joli - I think that is super exciting. I would love my birth to be photographed but not sure anyone would be brave enough to do that for a c/s !!
I am ordering new bra's (those hot milk ones are divine!) but the postage comes to less than R11 if you order from the nursingbra-shop.co.uk. It would end up being more expensive to post on to Jozi or Durbs!

Schatsie - I bought those "seamfree" bikini's from Woolies and find them very comfy and super stretchy. Hee hee my g's also got packed away a looonnnnng time ago!

Tazzy - That pain sounds so grim. I hope the gynae can help on monday.

Jessica - Happy Birthday !! :woohoo: Welcome to the fab 30's :woohoo:

Kimika - I did sleep a bit better thanks, it was definately more comfortable although my top arm keeps going numb now. Grrrrrr. I think I must just accept no decent sleep for a VERY long time. he he he

Misty - I reckon we'll all be on here at 2am with bubs that won't sleep. I'm guessing we'll be online more often. Whoop whoop on the money. That is awesome ............. I got my tax refund so also super happy.

Is anyone concidering banking stem cells? Is it worth it or just a con? I have found a CT based company that do the stem cells but not the cord for about R9000 which is way less that the usual quotes of over R25000!!
