Hey all, thanks for thinking of me!

Today is D day for the amnio results, but I phoned them yesterday to check if it was in yet (the dr said it might be done yesterday), but they said it wasn't done and the lab normally only gives the results after 15h30. So we're still waiting!! My nerves are finished and I was crying a lot again last night.

Just got a phone call from the Huggies Gold people - I entered that competition and referred 5 friends, so they're sending me a R100 gift voucher for nappies.

Maybe this is the start of a good and good news!

Will let you all know the results as soon as I get them!

Misty how about a digital photo key ring - they are about R120 and store 70 photos.

Joli - your "dream" picture sounds magical! Was trying to do my own little phot shoot yesterday with my camera taking the shots...lol what a joke, took hundreds and not on eis what I was after (funny how my boobs and nipples seem to get in the way)!

Meags - wow swimming in snow sounds like so much fun! Looking froward to some pics...made me think of my christmas last year in Scotland and went to look at all my pics after reading your post and bougth tears to my eyes (missing DH). We left today a year ago!

LucyW - I am sorry about your friend...It freaked me out a bit reading that as I have not thought about death due to child birth yet! EEEk. I ma sure the chances are very low...but they re still there! Hope that gynae practices at the hospital you want.

AFM...slept badly again last night...woke up and neck so stiff....cats a bit unsettled at night as DH away so every now and then they wake me up. At least Tomorrow is a holiday...meeting folks at Stark Aires nuresry for yummy breakdfast and then going to buy some plants for some pots I have at home. Think it will be a nice surprise for DH when he comes home next Monday to have a whole lot of new plants next to out pond.

Ladies PLEASE HELP I have no idea what to buy DH for Christmas. have got him 2 dvds and that is IT! He is very fussy with clothes so buys his own. I just cant think. I walked around Canal Walk earlier this week looking for a present for hima nd landed up only buying things for me....so any ideas will help!

The recipe is very basic:

250g butter - has to be butter
500g self raising flour
250ml sugar
2 eggs
Vanilla
Mix really well - you'll need to use your hands by the end
Bake for 20min at 180

Joli, I totally understand, kinda why I like my CT photographer is she doesn't have a studio so we do location shoots. I've got some great fun idea's for my maternity shots

Schatsie - how are you? Any news?? Hope you are OK.

Karin - congrats on 5 years. That's awesome. I've also got pain under my boobs / top of my belly, but apparently it's just because of the stretching and growing baby. Not sure if your pain is the same.

Jessica - sjoe your son is nice and big hey. I'm curious to see what my LO is weighing now.

Lucy - do you mean your friend died whilst giving birth???

Kimika - those pics are cute man. You can see his face, even íf it's not full front on.

Meags - really want to se see some pics please. Much be amazing to be there in the snow.

Ems's Mom - I don't really want studio shots - I've got this image in my mind that I want - I only really want 1 nice pic with the whole family. I want a 'dodgy' venue and then I want the girls to wear those brown / pink pettiskirts with brownish shirts - I want to wear a denim with no top and hubby must wear jeans and a brown shirt. Hubby and I must be posed in a way that you can see any boobs / nipples - not looking at the camera. The girls must be playing / walking away from us - also not looking at the camera. You get the picture? I think I must just work out the whole set up and just get someone to push my cam button he he. For the newborn shoot - because I'm a photographer myself - I get annoyed when I enquire re a shoot and get feedback. I hate to put a time limit on a newborn shoot. There is no way you can do a proper newborn shoot in 1 - 2 hours - I need time to feed, settle and put my baby to sleep and some babies are very niggling. I also want all the pics on CD - I don't want to go back to the same photographer asking for prints etc. But forward me the details of the people you know and I can have a look.

AFM: Tired, tired, tired... couldn't wake up this morning... yaaawnn...
And the ligament pain on the right hand side of my belly under my boob is making me insane!! It's burning and feels like I'm ready to burst at the seams... I'm going to have to ask my gynea to check it out next week Tuesday when I see him. .. stupid me have googled and it says that on the right hand side it might mean that my appendix is inflamed... so now I worry.
Not finishing today like we thougth, too much work, only Friday.
Tomorrow is my an hubby's 5 year anniversary!

Had my check-up yesterday - alls well. Had a laugh at the gynea's face he took measurements 3 times to make sure but baby is weighing in around 1.5kg's already! LOL its going to be a big one again which is good
