AFM - I have to wear them breast pads now, I am leaking big time! Through bra, shirt the works! I can even watch it running out!!. I feel so self concious in public as I am sure I am going to be "showing". So I keep watching my own boobs - LOL!!

Meags, as hard as it is try not to stress about the sex. Sadly it is perfectly normal for some men to go off sex while their wives are PG. Esp if they have felt the baby move already.

Lucy glad you had a great scan! And that all is set well for the birth. 4kg is a nice weight, Em would have been close to 5 if we had carried full term. I'm hoping on 4 or maybe 4.5 this time. Big babies are a bit easier to deal with (and you dont feel like you are going to break them)

I am having a hard time dragging my pregnant ass of of bed today, basically just made it up so far to feed Em and myself. Need to get a move on now and get to shops etc. But bed so comfy!

well it's snowing lightly here now so hopefully by tomorrow I will finally be able to get some decent photos!!!
We are off to the Christmas Market and probably then to some other shops later. DH left me with 30 francs (R200) like I can buy much with that!!

Lucy - 713g is average for 24 weeks so don't worry about your precious angel being too big...yet!! Pity your DH wasn't there - my turn is coming for that as my next 2 scans I'll be alone.

I've been meaning to say - Anje your 4D photos are AMAZING! You can see exactly the shape of her nose and lips etc. I'm so jealous!! Dh has a typical french nose and I am so hoping Matthieu does not inherit that trait from him

Kimika I love how your little boy has his feet up by his face! So precious!!!

Schatsie - how you feeling today? Still on cloud 9? I thought about you so much yesterday and last night - I am just so thrilled all is well.

Joli - good luck finding someone to press that button for you!! your vision for the photo sounds amazing.

EmsMom - glad your DH finally felt baby kicking! It's such a special thing

not really much else to report. feel very neglected in the sex department as DH is skiing every day and is always too tired etc etc etc. I feel so rejected he promised things would be different once he started his leave and it's no different at all. I am beginning to wonder if he's even attracted to me anymore...

I missed so much today I hope I remember all the comments I wanted to make!!

Joli - My local fabric store has a french knitting kit for R49 and one with a magic pom pom maker for R70. It is cute, shaped like a bee. If you don't come right I don't mind getting it and posting it to you. Let me know!! While my friend was giving birth they had a power failure. A few weeks later she developed meninigitis and after being in a coma for 11 days she passed away. The type of infection she got is a post partum bug, likely due to the power failure! She left behind a 2 yr old boy and a 6 week old baby. Never mind a devastated husband, family and friends. This was 10 years ago but still so sad and been a big hurdle for me to get over to even consider getting pregnant. Also a reason I want to be in a sterile theatre !!

Meags - I am so sorry, been crazy busy but really plan on posting belly and nursery (so far) pics tomorrow.

Kimika - Yes it is finally coming together. I am sorry your day was so unproductive but your 30 and 30 sounds awesome.

Well I am officially on leave but I still have about a days work to get done, grrrrrrr!
My scan was awesome awesome awesome. I only got 1 pic of the hamburger!!! But he tried to do a 4d but the monkey kept moving and it wouldn't focus properly. One thing was clear...... she has an enormous schnozzzzz!!! So funny, DH didn't make the scan and he keeps asking what she looked like ...... and I don't know because all I could see was the nose!! Hee hee. Anyway she is 713g and is tracking towards being over 4kg ....EEEEK, so glad I am having a c/s.
He is happy to c/s me at the local hospital , so I am so stoked. He said if there is an emergency that his partner is moving there full time and she can handle it until he arrives. I like his partner so that is great. He also checked my cervix and it is tightly closed

Have you tried a sowing material store? Perhaps they have or can recommend a place for you to find? If you were in CT would be able to help but dont know JHB at all.

Been out the whole day, got home and now I'm just so tired. I'm uncomfortable and sore and coughing so really not in the mood for anything, but had a nice long bath and feel a bit better.

Came to log in quickly to see if there's any news from Schatsie - and what an awesome way to end this day! Schatsie I am soooooooooooooo happy for you! Wish I could just give you hug right now. Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and no more tears from now on! You must be so relieved - at least you will have a nice rest tonigh, that's if you are not too excited to actually sleep .

I live close to Maryvale and don't know of any bird park here - let me know if there is one. You not perhaps talking about Monte Casino's bird park??

Girls I urgently need to find a french knitting kit for Kayla - that what she wants for Christmas. I can't even knit, never mind french knitting and I don't even know where to look. I've been to a couple of big stores and toy stores and CNA, but nothing. Pls if you see anything, let me know.

Well I bought the girls' skirts and socks today for the maternity shoot, now just to find them matching tops and a shirt for hubby . And off course a location. I also thought of maybe doing a shoot on the beach, but then again, there will be so many people around, that it might not be possible. Will just have to see.
