Just had to laugh, after my little "no bonus rant" The company Mat is outsourced to (doesn't actually employ him so he doesn't get bonus's from them, which is a pity cause the do profil share, but anyways) they decided this year instead of hosting an end of year function they have given every employee - including Mat - 2 free nights accomodation for 2 people at any protea hotel, and a R400 pick and pay voucher.

that girl is bringing her mom here in an hour to see the place - hope she also loves it!

scan was nice - but hurried as always.
he has chubby cheeks and weighing 638g
have to start taking asprin from today for flying. but dont think i have any so may have to start tomorrow

our trunks were finally collected. so house looks quite empty now!

emsmom - i forgot to say, you are not that big in your picture!!! i would never say you look like you are about to give birth

as for my gynae - she says to me "finally you have put on a bit of weight and looking nice and pregnant"
I was like...what the hell....i've gained 13kg!!!
and i told her that and she said "yes but you looked too thin before and most of your weight gain is probably water"

so here i sit eating chocolate with no guilt

Anje you lucky thing I am dying for a wax! I think I've had like 1 brazillian since I got pregnant! How is that possible! I am going to also remedy this soon!!!

I'm not even going to SPEAK abuot the day I've had so far - so many things went wrong so I'm just going to write my gratitude list and remember all the things I have to be grateful for. Two words (twice, LOL! )

Tazzy, sorry about dh and lo, not fun when family sick, just look after yourself. i also HATE antibiotics - when em and DH had the tummy bug 2 weeks ago the dr gave them both antibiotics and I flipped! i refused to give them to her. I think for some doctors anitbiotics are like the new panado, just take in case...

Karin, glad things are going so well, that kicking is such a wonderful feeling! Sorry about bonuses, we are in the same boat. I dont mind cause I'm only 4 hours a day, but dh works so hard, and each year the company has like 3 parties and one of them is financial year end, and they say how well they did, and then no-one gets bonuses.. I'm like dont throw 3 bloody parties, your employee's would def prefer the money.


Kimika, scary for mommyn, but at least she is almost full term, and babies now days thrive so well even when prem!

Anje, hope your kitchen is done soon! Is really frustrating when things are not done when you expect! but please post some pics when all finished.

AFM, a bit emotional atm, just saw pics on facebook of my folks with my sister and started crying. I miss my family so much. We are so close it is not normal for us not to be together for so long!
Otherwise doing alright, I have moved my laptop into the bedroom now so I can keep my feet up all day, and because it is smaller than the lounge, the fan works better and I can keep it nice and cool, so not even noticing the hot weather. might just be able to make it through the summer!
em is being such a sweetie, she has moved into her own bed totally now, and doesn't call for us unless she needs to go wee, so our nights are so much better. Well at least they would be if I could get comfy, last night I was on the verge of crying cause I could not get comfy! i eventually had about 4 pillows, plus my preggy pillow and blankets stuffed all around me to get to sleep. But got a lovely nap this morning
